HI Everyone,

I am maintaining my weight in the 150's. I was down to 146 and I didnt like the way I looked. So although I am still below goal, I do not looked as washed out as before. Lately, I have been getting chronic leg, toe and foot cramps. Did some research on this and it would seem it could be a potassium or magnesium problem? Getting labs done this week. I had some done less than 6 months ago but I do not know if they actually tested magnesium. Does anyone else have this problem?

SInce I have autoimmune problems and peripheral neuropathy, if the labs don't show a deficiency, the next visit will be to my rheumatologist since I already have Sjogrens syndrome.

Thanks!!

This has been happening to me lately and my PCP said to add Magnesium to my diet so I have been taking 2 500mg pills a day and it has helped. But also remember hydrate hydrate hydrate.

I find mag works but sometimes I have a flare and use Theraworx. Very effective for me

When my iron levels were low I had leg cramps more often. I have added magnesium.

My doctor told me increase magnesium, to take an over the counter pill called Leg Cramps, to drink Tonic Water and to use Aspercreme if the pain was too severe.

I agree. with the Magnesium responses, regardless of what your lab levels show...

Something I learned, right HERE, of course, that has been VERY effective, for me, is SPRAY Magnesium OIL...I got a 10 ounce bottle, from Amazon, for about $12, and it has lasted for MONTHS!!

GREAT stuff!! This one is called "Essentially Based", and has a green label

I've gotten these charley horse like foot and even hand cramps so severely that I literally had to jump out of bed and try to work them out by flexing all over the room . For me it's a symptom of many days dehydration . What works to end the torture for is downing a big glass of water a calcium/ magnesium pills . This usually ends it otherwise they keep coming back . ((()))) I hope you can solve it cuz this is a horrible thing !
