Hi All!

Not much planned today except for some kind of exercise later this morning and Mah Jongg this afternoon. We've had a busy few days, so I'm looking forward to some down time! Also looking forward to some cooler, dryer days this week.

accountability was good yesterday

QOTD: things baking (esp bread and cinnamon rolls!) and fresh coffee brewing

4 years 1 month out:

B: protein pancakes topped with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 C strawberry/rhubarb sauce (no added sugar), coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: not the world's best choice, but I've been thinking about grilled cheese sandwiches lately. Or I guess I could broil an open-faced version in the oven. With a slice of summer tomato....

AS: I'll be at Mah Jongg, but I'll take a protein bar with me just in case..

D: I have some shaved beef in the fridge, so probably that. And grilled zucchini

ex: not sure yet - but something.

morning and happy monday. The weekend was good, but extremely extremely busy. Like I didn't get 30 minutes to myself until 9:00 last night, busy. I was on plan until Saturday night. It was a friend's birthday and she wanted Mexican food. So, we went to a restaurant called El Cholo, which has been around LA for something like 70 years. They sat us at a booth near the kitchen and if you agree to take it, you get free nachos. So, while we were waiting for another friend who got stuck in traffic, I mindlessly ate nachos. Which resulted in me not really being hungry for my dinner, which resulted in a blood sugar crash (42), which resulted in me drinking some of a regular coke, which resulted in my sugar crashing yet again on the drive home. I was a mess. Yesterday was better, and today should be fine. I meal prepped and have all "on plan" foods with me.

QOTD: clean, warm, straight from the dryer laundry

My Plan:

B: Costco egg bites

L: 4.3 oz ground turkey, 1/4 cauliflower rice, parm

D: Steak and garden salad with cucumbers, tomato and radish

S: Latte. I'm supposed to meet friends from my old firm for happy hour (I'll likely have an iced tea), but if that gets cancelled, I brought gym clothes with me and will have a small plum before class

E: rest day, unless see above. I'm hoping HH doesn't get cancelled. My body could use a rest day (haven't had one in 3 weeks) but I know if it gets cancelled, I won't allow myself to take the time

Stacy, your bs crashes are so scary. You do an amazing job of dealing with what must be such a tough scenario!

First and foremost thoughts and prayers for the CA participants effected by this Gilroy tragedy.

QOTD: Coppertone Suntan Lotion it just reeks of summer and reminds me of my mother she is a big fan of sun bathing even at 81 she still puts on the bikini and gets in the pool. Also we only get 3 months of summer here I just love that smell.

I went to see the Plastic surgeon who did my skin removal after my Hernia repair in February and I am excited to report I am healed. He said I can start using the pool again I can go to Kennywood. I do not have to wear the Abdominal binder all the time. He said if I think I should when I exercise it might be a good Idea so I do not re-injure myself. I am still restricted to lifting only 20 lbs and no core exercise.

Accountability is great I had a great weekend and the scale said 143.6 this morning. OK 3 more pound to my first goal and 18 lbs till maintenance.

Exercise I'll Be running in the pool after work. Getting some sunshine on my skin.
