G'morning all!

Holy moly, I can't believe the news from Gilroy. I was just talking about the garlic festival to you guys last Friday. We checked in with all friends to make sure they weren't there. Had friends who went on Fri. This is so scary and senseless. Also, too close to home.

I did a 10K race that is famous in our area and is called wharf to wharf because obviously it starts from one wharf and ends at the next town's wharf and it's 6.2 miles. I usually do it with a gf that we meet up only for these races, never have time to connect unless we sign up for a run. Keep each other company and talk our heads off, and at the end of race talk about a future one where we can sign up and meet again.

I made a mistake and on the way home from the run stopped at a froyo place. The intention was good and I chose a no sugar added flavor. But my pouch did not agree with my decision anyway. By the time we got home I was in pain and just wanted to curl up and die. The rest of the day I spent in a daze from pouch pain and sore muscles.

Edit to add QOTD: smell of eucalyptus trees. Remind me of my childhood and a vacation spot we used to go to. Also any baked goods: bread, cookies, brownies, cinnamon roll...yum!

May meals for the day: I'm sticking with protein shakes until my stomach feels better.

Have a great Mon and send healthy vibes to those affected by the Gilroy shooting.

Great job on the race!

The Gilroy news was sooo sad. I too was thinking that we just talked about the garlic festival last week. I'm really tired of all the mass shootings.

Good Morning! We had a pretty relaxing weekend and pretty much hung out at home with the A/C blasting. I got some work done on my never-ending crochet blanket I'm working on.

Accountability: Unplanned snacks happened- nothing "off" plan but unplanned and unnecessary.

QOTD: Probably something baking- bread or cookies.

TSS: 4 years 11 months

B: SF latte, Eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and 1/2 an orange

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: SF almond milk latte, TJ hatch pepper cheese (thanks for all the recommendations and with Amy's help I found some!!) on egg white crepini and carbmaster yogurt. Maybe some pork rinds.

D: BBQ chicken pizza (low carb lavash/SF BBQ sauce, chicken, cheese), sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Low carb pita with butter and SF jam, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber and 40 mins of elliptical

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1426 Protein:131 Carbs:98 Fat:66

Have a great one!

I have what I affectionately call the 5-year blanket. Although to be honest, it's now gone past the five year mark and need to accept that I likely will never fini**** and move on/.
