What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?

Morning everyone! Happy Sunday!
Polo was so fun last night. I went with Grim and some family including my favorite niece who I am trying to see constantly while she is here before she heads back to college in St Louis in two weeks. I just adore this kid and we had a blast looking at all of the fashion :) This is me in my polo outfit!
Here's my awesome plan for today! I am starting by meeting a friend at the beach this morning, then we are going to the mall so that I can take her dress shopping. She hates dressing up, but has an event to attend and her terrible ex husband will be there, so we need to make her look gorgeous, lol. I love any excuse for shopping, especially fancy dress shopping! This should be fun!
Accountability: What's Keto? UGH. I ate terribly yesterday. I had a coconut macaroon and four pieces of candy, as well as two crackers. Yikes. I biked for about 45 minutes and did a yoga video at home.
QOTD: Are you squeamish about blood and guts? I'm not too bad. As a school principal, I have dealt with more than a few broken bones and lots of fist fights that resulted in bloody noses. I don't think I would enjoy being in the medical field, but I am not instantly sick from the sight of blood.
MFP is not working for me this morning! I might need to adjust this if the macros are way off, but this is my initial plan:
B: Coffee with mocha almond milk
B2: 2 eggs with cheese & peppers
L: Chicken Caesar salad
S: Pecans
D: Cheeseburger (no bun)
Edit: LOOOOOOK. MFP is up again and my macros were almost perfect. I am getting better at this :)
Exercise: 5K run
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
- High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)
- Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Glad you had a great time at polo. I've never been and know nothing about it. I love your dress!
I didn't get much done yesterday from lack of sleep the night before so I have a lot to do today. Feeling so much better after a good night's sleep.
QOTD: I am not a blood and guts type of girl. I once thought I wanted to be a nurse!
B: egg, jalapeno, onion, tomato, cheese wrap
L: chicken salad and sliced tomato
D: I think we are going out
I am behind on fluids and I forgot to take my vitamins yesterday. Here's to a better today and leaving yesterday in the books!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Mornin' All!
that is such a great outfit, JB - I especially love the hat!!
Not sure what is up today. I may run over to this store the next town over and see what they have left of outdoor furniture (now 90% off). I did order a wicker couch online a couple of weeks ago (should be coming soon), but I want to get a couple of red wooden porch rockers. I'm a little leery about ordering furniture online unless I see a sample IRL first. This place carries a line I'm considering - hopefully they'll have something left. It doesn't even have to be a rocker - just something to clue me in to the manufacturer's quality.
Accountability was on target yesterday, even though we went out to dinner.
QOTD: blood & guts....hmmmm. Well, better than I used to be, anyway. Still not super comfortable with it, though.
4 years 1 month out:
B: coffee with half & half, protein pancakes topped with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, diced mango (1/2), and SF syrup
MS: protein shake
L: if home, the other half of the turkey, cheese & apple sandwich that I had last night
AS: if home, probably a light yogurt. If out, a protein bar
D: if home, the last of the pulled pork. And zucchini.
ex: unless DH has big plans for the day, I'm thinking an 11:00 gentle yoga class and a 4:00 Zumba class
have a great Sunday, all!!
Good morning menu friends and thanks for starting us off today, JB. Miss Lily and I had a great first walk already today and will do 2 more at some point. No exciting plans today but I do need to give Lily a bath at some point. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday though meals changed calories were actually lower so that's good. We were out at lunchtime so I had a burger no bun and then ate very little at dinner because I just wasn't hungry. Weight today is 122.2 and here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz chicken salad D seafood stuffed pepper and 1 stuffed mushroomS if needed sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

Good morning! You look lovely Julia! I hope you ha a great time. It was a nice day yesterday - beautiful weather! We got so much done and I even had time for a much needed pedi! Today we are going on a hike probably finish the garage. Laundry is on the agenda too.
QOTD - I don't have an issue with blood or guts, but I do have an issue with needles!! I cannot even watch the needle go in when I get blood drawn and getting an IV makes me want to hurl. I could never be a nurse! I guess you get used to it...
Accountability - I went over my macros yesterday even though I stayed keto - I totally overate. Today will be a better day! I've thrown out all nuts - I just can't be trusted.
TSS 2 years, 8 moths - 174.5 - boo
Have a wonderful day!

Good morning all! So yesterday I was really put to the test. Had a friend over for board games and movies. Pizza was ordered for dinner....I ordered a salad. Oh that pizza smelled sooo good, but I was good and did not even touch it. He offered to take the leftover pizza home with him so I wouldn't be tempted and I happily agreed! It's really hard sometimes when friends/family are eating things that you can't have, but at the same time I don't think they should "watch" what they eat around you just to make it easier for you. Even though I've had them offer or say things like "I don't want to eat this in front of you because I know you can't have it" or "what can you eat and I'll order the same." I think it's sweet, but I'm going to have to face temptation regardless so no need for them to not eat whatever they want.
QOTD: no, I don't think I'm squeamish around blood....but needles? Yes. I was in nursing school and had to drop out one semester before graduating. I just couldn't do it.....giving injections and drawing blood got me every time. Not the blood part, but the needles. Sigh....
B: premier shake
L: leftover Italian chef salad from last night
S: L&F Greek yogurt
D: not sure yet....maybe some scallops
S: fruit or cheese stick if still hungry.

Good morning, everybody!
Today is getting away from me. Marilyn is at an all day tennis event and I slept in until 8:30 and then watched a really long video about intermittent fasting, put dinner in the slow cooker, got a coffee, and all of a sudden its 10:45.
I don't have a lot planned for today. Maybe I will mow the lawn so that Marilyn doesn't have to do it tomorrow. If my sons want to go to the gym I will join them just to go in the pool because I need to take a rest day today.
JB you look lovely.
QOTD: LOL. I was a frequent fainter at the doctor's office. Eventually I worked up to the point where i could make it through a blood draw without fainting. Because of that, I signed up to donate blood at a Red Cross drive. I didn't realize the quantity of blood was much different than a draw. After multiple times fainting and reviving, the Nurse told me "You know there are many other ways that you can help our organization."
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Cheeseburger
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: Bratwurst
Have a great day, all!

Apparently there is a condition that some people can have.
They may be fine with good, guts, theirs or others, or needles.
But if they see their own blood start flowing into a tube during blood draw - they may pass out.
I know about it because I have it. I can watch other people getting blood draw, or even my own blood running when I cut myself (way too often). Bu****ching my own blood flowing into a tube may make me pass out. I started having that issues when I was in highschool. Since being an adult, who gets a lot of blood work, I now warn nurses to not let me look at that. I often distract myself using my phone or having a conversation with a nurse. Weird affliction. But real.
