Hellooooo Saturday! What are you all up to? I am going to a polo match today. A sport that includes wearing fancy hats and drinking wine? Yes please!

I am so sore this morning! I ran my 4.5 miles yesterday (yay!), and I felt pretty good doing it, but woke up with a lot of soreness in my right leg. I will do some yoga this morning to stretch it out.

Accountability: Meh. Not my best day. I was snacky and I really need to go to the grocery store. I am out of good Keto proteins, so I need to get there this morning.

QOTD: What is your favorite cheese? I like them all, of course, but my absolute favs are: Sharp Cheddar, Brie, Gruyere, and Goat Cheese.

Exercise: Yoga and 1 hour bike.

Mornin' Weekenders!

I ended up spending most of the afternoon at MIL's yesterday getting her internet/TV/phone hooked up. I'm going to try to stay away as much as possible this weekend since I'll have her next week - and from here on out until she starts making friends and feeling more connected (luckily, my mother lives in the same town, so she can help as well. DH is back at work starting Monday, so his time will be more limited). I just don't want to burn out, so I'll need to pace myself.

not much on the agenda today other than to finish up a few things and get some exercise. Lots of class possibilities this morning - Body Pump, Zumba, and a couple of yoga choices. Not sure which way I'll go yet.

Accountability was good yesterday until I had some homemade protein ice cream around 8:00 p.m. Ended up over my calorie range, although choices were all good. Although I had some pretty low calorie days this week, so it should balance out - but I just don't want to get back into the habit of eating over my range again.

QOTD: I like pretty much all cow milk cheeses except for really strong blues (mild blues are OK). Mild sheep and goat cheeses are also OK - not crazy about the strong ones. I guess the type of cheese I'm most likely to grab is a really ancient cheddar - the kind that has crystals and is crumbly and crunchy. You can find cheddars up to 15 years old around here. OMG!!! Although there are some fabulous Italian-style ones that are made here, too (Kara knows about those!!) - hard, aged cheeses like some wonderful parmesans which are also fantastic. I guess either one of those two types I mentioned would be my favorites.

4 years 1 month out:

B: protein pancakes topped with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, diced peach, and SF syrup. Coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: we may be over at MIL's. If so, I'll take a protein bar or two with me in case there aren't any safe options.

D: probably pulled pork again. With grilled zucchini or chickpea salad.

have a great day!!

Would she use an app like Meet Up to meet new people? I just introduced my aunt to it and now she's never home.

Hey JB and Menuers,

Sorry to hear your so sore today but I am thinking that the wine is going to help.

I am on my own today because DH is going to a Remote Control Car event. I do not know really what that all entails because I truly do not care I just know he spends a bunch of money fixing baby cars and goes races them somewhere .

I read back my post and I feel the need to apologize to all you educators and Professionals for my grammar and spelling. I am sure there are a few of you that would love to correct it. I even cringe when I read them sometimes. I do sales on a phone. Writing is not my strong suite.

QOTD: Huntsman It is a wonderful blend of an aged cheddar and Stilton. Blue cheese has been a downfall of mine even before WLS. It killed many of diet for me in my lifetime. I have a hard time with menus on the weekend but This is what I got going for today.

Accountability was great yesterday and the scale is back to my lowest weight since surgery.

Exercise I'll probably walk around the neighborhood.

TSS 1 year 8 months

MS over easy eggs and Breakfast Sausage

Have a great Weekend.

Brightest Blessings

I usually assume "mistakes" are due to auto correct - that, or people re-writing their sentences and forgetting to delete a word or changing a verb tense. You shouldn't have confessed - we might not have ever known the truth!!!

I have always interpreted the "it's rude to change your post without adding Edit" maxim not apply to spelling, verb tense, etc. The space bar on our keyboard sticks and between that and autocorrect, things don't always come out the way I thought they would.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

I had a touch on insomnia last night and I feel awful this morning from lack of sleep. Today I am getting a pedicure and picking up a few things from the market. I have to go out and pick the garden some time today and vacuum the pool.

DH is recovering well and still hasn't taken one pain pill!

QOTD: There isn't a cheese that I do not like!

B: scrambled egg, cheese, jalapeno & tomato wrap

L: chicken salad with garden tomatoes

D: meatloaf and corn on the cob

Lots of liquids (I haven't been doing well with that for a few days) and all vitamins. Have a great Saturday!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Good morning! Enjoy the polo match - how fun!! We are taking the dogs to the park then home to rearrange the garage - things have gotten out of hand in there! It's a 2 car, but small so things are tight. Our HOA requires that we park in the garage but I'd much rather use it for storage and projects. Later we are going to my sisters house for a BBQ and I will only eat chicken and cheese = no snacks!

QOTD - extra sharp cheddar is my favorite - then parm, pepper jack, blue - all the the cheeses! I just don't like when they are too stinky, a little stinky is good though!

Accountability - I ate over 600 calories of sunflower seeds without thinking. I was going to have a small handful then proceeded to eat the whole 3.5 oz bag.

TSS 2 years, 8 months = 173.8

802/64/54/10 - the totals got cut off!

Have a great day!
