Good Morning JB and Menuers,

It's been a crazy kind of a week! DH had his bicep surgery yesterday and it went well. The doctor said there was a lot of scar tissue and he lost a bit of blood but everything is okay. DH seems to be doing well, not taking the pain meds and only using ice and Tylenol.

This weekend will be low key and I am thankful. We have many errands to run and I need to get the camper packed for our trip next week.

QOTD: I am going with Maryland Crabs. I am not a crab fan unless it is a crabcake.

I have no food plan but will have plenty of liquids and will make smart choices.

Have a great weekend!

The pictures are from the concert we went to on Sunday!

Hi JB & Menu Crew - Happy Friday!

I took a vacation day today because I can and getting my hair done, bye bye grey! Not a whole lot going on this weekend, going to our best friends son's 10th bday party tomorrow, we always have a blast with them. And Sunday is open for now, its supposed to be brain melting hot again starting today for the next 5 days so it will be a lot of indoor stuff in the AC.

I hope the Vet visit goes well with the little munchkins, they are so adorable!

QOTD: Our Province of Ontario is not known for a specific food but what is very "Canadian" is Poutine. For those that don't know what that is its french fries smothered in cheese curds then hot gravy poured over to melt the curds. Since I am allergic to potatoes I have never had it but all my friends tell me its pretty much the best meal ever. Lots of places here will go gourmet and put brisket or bacon & other goodies on it to make it ever more yummy! Here is a pic of this tasty delight:

And for anyone having a bad day, remember this

5yrs 8 mos post op RNY - here is my eats today:

V: patches are on + oral B12

L: I have been slacking on my liquids and today I am going to do better and get back to my 150oz

E: gym later tonight for a 5km run and arms day

Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Mike you did it once and lost the weight you can do it again, believe in yourself and stop the negative talk in your head and turn that around to "I will lose this excess weight" not "I wish I could lose this excess weight." Getting rid of negative self talk works in all aspects of our lives and I know this from personal experience. You got this and I believe in you.

If you travels take you anywhere near Toronto or even Niagara Falls please give me a shot out I am close to both for an OH Meet up!

I use my computer to post versus my iPhone so its easy to post the emojis from my computer, I never get it to work when I post on my phone!

Enjoy the Wedding, we expect pics next Friday of your handsome self and gorgeous wife!

Thanks Daisy - I will get after it, there has to be a reason why I can seem to drop the last 10 pounds to get where I want to be.

The whole family will be there at this wedding, Joddie, both boys, My Parents as well. Should be a blast and I will share some photos.

I would love to meet you, our travels will bring us in your direction soon I hope, the Hockey Hall of fame is high on my list of things I need to see.
