What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

I used to think owls were cute until I got into the conspiracy theory that an owl killed Kathleen Peterson. Now I just see creepy murderers!

Oh that case!!! It was so crazy! Did you watch The Staircase? I don't think it was the owl.

Oh yeah I watched it all. I am torn. I mean, he is a total narcissistic ass and two staircase accidents does sound a little insane. But on the other hand--there are microscopic owl feathers at the base of their neck! Owls!

it is all very odd...but he is so skeeevy, he makes it even odder.

Good morning JB and menu crew I hope you all have a wonderful Friday! Your babies are so cute JB, do they put up much of a fight getting in the carrier? Great Hammock picture, I had a stress filled day yesterday, many issues that were out of my control. Busy weekend, our niece is getting married Saturday, rehearsal dinner tonight and wedding tomorrow. Should be a blast.

Accountability - I ate too many salt and pepper pistachios, out of the bag vs grabbing a serving.

QOTD - I will answer in two parts - What is New York Famous for?? Taxes...hahah. Oh the food we are famous for? I am going to go regional with my answer as NY has so many unique food items depending on your region. In the North Country we are famous for Michigan Hot Dogs ( Photo Below) Michigan Hot dog is a Steamed Hot Dog and Bun with a spicy meat sauce and is usually served with onions and mustard, the picture shows a Michigan with the Onions and Mustard "Buried".

Wait, Upstate NY is famous for Michigan hotdogs? How did that happen, lol?

My favorite Upstate NY food is Spiedies! I have no idea why you can't get these anywhere else in the country. They are the best!

NY is certainly a regional state. I am considered being from the North Country , Upstate is considered Albany -East/West. If I tell folks that I am from the North they always say - "Albany?"? Spiedies are really good as well, Buffalo has a sandwich called Beef On weck that is another regional favorite.

Oooooh Grim would love beef on weck. Yesterday he had a roast beef sandwich made and he told the guy to put a to of salt on it. They started salting it and said "say when" when he should stop. ....10 minutes later.... Haha.
