What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?

Good morning everyone! Lily and I have our first long walk in already and will do more at some point today if the weather report of cooler temperatures is right. We walk 3times a day anyway but how far is determined by how much an inferno it is. There was NO accountability yesterday. I ate all the food so luckily, today is a new day. Goal today is more fluids and zero unplanned foods. Weight today is 122.6. QOTD ice cream is not allowed in me or in my house. It's a sweet and I have zero control. I even steer clear of Halo Top because I would make that container one serving--guaranteed! I used to work at the Dairy Queen all through high school and had ice cream at least 5 days a week. And yes I do miss it but don't miss the diabetes, high cholesterol and triglycerides and general daily pain I had from my unhealthy relationship with it. Here's the food plan B2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L 4oz deli chicken with cheese D 4 oz quinoa crunch southwest veggie burger with 2 tomato slices S if needed hummus and 4 pretzels. Have a wonderful day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

Morning from your melting Canadian friend! We have pretty much the same weather as you guys. Friday and yesterday I think my brain melted. We got a huge thunder & rain storm last night and its much cooler today high of 82 instead of the 98 & 99 few days ago. I so wish we had a pool, I would be in there permanently until Thanksgiving. Stay cool and get more AC units in your house dammit!

QOTD: Ice cream was never my thing pre surgery. I became lactose intolerant post surgery so I rarely if ever eat it now. But a brand new Dairy Queen just opened up by us so hubby and I walked there a few weeks ago and shared a plain vanilla cone. It was sooooo good and then I went into full on carb coma and felt like I was going to throw up for hours, so not worth it, or was it because DAIRY QUEEN

Eats today at 5yrs & 8 mos post op RNY

B: multiple coffees with vanilla premier protein used as creamer then two scrambled eggs with pico de gallo

L: Epic chicken bar & 10 cheese whips (yes I count them)

D: grilled turkey burger + green beans & lots of butter!

S: SF chocolate pudding cup

E: already took the dogs out early this morning before the heat hit and will go to the gym later and do 5km on the treadmill and leg day

V: patches are on

L: need to work on getting my 150oz in, I have been slacking on this

Have an awesome restful COOL Sunday!

I'm pretty all set with living in the US right now, so I'm just saying that if you get a pool, I'm out of here!!! You'll definitely have a permanent house guest! I'll bring the cats so Amy and Oliver can get two new little besties :)

Good morning~ so nice to see all the posts on a Sunday! Today should be a nice chill day. We are going to clean/fix up all the patio & all the flower pots that have been neglected (dead, RIP). I love going to Home Depot but I go all 'I can do anything!' - which basically an overly ambitious cart full of crap that will never happen. Going to try and stick with the basics today. Later we will enjoy our pretty patio and BBQ on this beautiful Sunday!

QOTD - I LOVE ICE CREAM and was in a relationship with Ben and Jerry for decades! We saw each other at least once a week - sadly we broke up when I had surgery. More recently I've tried Halo Top which upsets my stomach due to the sugar alcohols so I don't go there anymore. I do enjoy a tub of L&F greek frozen for a bout an hour and half - delish! I have had real ice cream twice, maybe three? - the first time I was in dumping hell, the second time I only had a couple bits nothing happened.

Accountability - Good - I'm not hungry at all!! But I was quite bored yesterday afternoon and wanted to eat so bad!

Morning JB and crew- I figure I should drag myself out of my life-imposed MIA status. My weekends are slow and I have no reason not to post- I just fall down a online shopping/social media rabbit hole. Oh, and I've been reading (yeah me!! Go figure).

I did my run super early @5:30 since the sun wouldn't be high in the sky yet. 7 miles and I had a 8:38 min/mile pace for one of them.yes!! I finished up some yard work right after and ran to the grocery store to get everything else we need for the week ahead. I have one load of laundry to do and some vacuuming- then the day will be couch potato land.

Qotd: being 4.2 year out I've definitely tried ice cream. I never loved ice cream pre op, I feel the same way post op. I like the stuff they put in ice cream, cookie dough, chocolate chips, fruits. It's like finding a prize in the cereal box, you gotta slosh through to get to the pay off. My compromise most of the time are the sugar free outshine bars in lieu of ice cream. I don't feel guilty when I do indulge because it's so few and far between.

218 today, 4.2 years out

m1: bagel, 1 boiled egg, bacon, 3 slices and 1oz cheese

m2: yogurt & berries

m3: ham/chicken/cheese roll up

m4: chicken Parmesan

Good Sunday everyone.

qotd:I like ice cream but don't love it. My fav is white chocolate with raspberry. I haven't had ice cream in over 9 months and it was halo top.

accountability for yesterday was crap. I'm paying for it with an upset stomach. So I think it'll be a mostly liquid diet kind of day.
