What's on your Saturday Menu & Surgiversary Post!
Up early here too and Lily and I already have our first long walk in. We'll do 2 more at some point today. QOTD I wasn't scared I was READY. I had had several previous surgeries that were worse--2 knee replacements--so it wasn't an unknown for me. Compared to the knee surgeries, RNY was a piece of cake. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 122.2. Here's the food for today B 2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L tuna packet with relish and mayo D quinoa crunch southwest veggie burger S probably not needed. Need to hit the drinks today as I've not hit my 100 ounces the last 3 days. Have a wonderful day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

Good morning everyone. I slept horribly last night. I was up at 2 am. My husband is in Minnesota visiting family. I just don't sleep well when he is gone. I just feel gross today.
QOTD- Yes I was afraid, but knew I had to do something. I couldn't fail at another fad diet. My husband was deployed when I decided. I went to the information seminar with my daughter. My husband has always been so supportive. I had surgery 2 months after he came home. I still have days that I can't believe I did it.
Julia! You look wonderful! Happy surgiversary!!! You have done well.
Food for today
2 cups black coffee
2 scrambled egg with parmesan cheese
chomps
shredded chicken with salsa
more shredded chicken with salsa
Lots of water and vitamins always.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday! Well my goal was to reach 100 pounds lost at my six month mark. Well that is in three days and I'm still 5 pounds shy from meeting that goal. So I don't think that's gonna happen. Still a bit bummed about that, but I guess I should just be thankful I'm still losing and not gaining. I need to get going as I need to go shopping today for a birthday gift for my sweet neighbor, but all I really want to do is stay home and try out my new vacuum I recently purchased. Doesn't take much to make me happy! Lol. Besides, my floors really need vacuuming.
QOTD: I was scared, but not as scared as I was going into my first surgery....they really had to give me something to calm my nerves for that one since it was my first ever surgery. With this one I guess I was mostly scared due to the fact that my surgeon told me they may have to do an open surgery if I had a lot of scar tissue from my last surgery several years ago. The last surgery was an open one and took forever to recover from. I was also a bit afraid that I was having my insides re-arranged.....it just seemed so un-natural. Then of course there was also the risk of not waking up due to my size. I'm always scared when going under anesthesia. But I told myself either two things would happen.....either I'd wake up to the start of a whole new healthier life, or I wouldn't wake up at all. At the time both options seemed better than the misery I was living in and I knew something had to be done. So I just gave my fears to God and that was that.
