What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

My espresso shots (doubles) would go perfect in these but they truly considered them coffee cups.

And that is very sad.

You are in incredible shape physically to do all you do. Can anyone do the grocery after flying?

Oh, I am amazed at how much easier it is to do all the travel now...I know I did it 130 lbs ago too but I'm really not sure how.

i did get out to the grocery store during my 10 am conference call break and am stocked up on the healthy and yummies..well, the ever roast, cottage cheese and yogurt at least!

Ha, my friend ives in Israel and traveled back to the US this week. She posted a pic on FB with the caption, "you can tell that I am back in the US because this GIANT coffee cup is only a medium". She is constantly complaining that you can't get a decent sized cup of coffee anywhere in that country! I'd die outside of the US, I think.

food is like that, too. US portions are gynormous compared to the rest of the world!

Most places true and it's nice because then the RNY sized portions don't get as many questions -- will say that in central and South America, portions have expanded (i imagine that being because if the US).

The only portion control we should export is bigger coffee cups, lol

OMG so I used to work in Marketing for Volkswagen, at the HQ, and it was a DAILY battle with the German engineers to improve the cupholders in our cars! We used to have teams of engineers come over and we would take them through drive-thrus and to 7-11 and get them to understand what a "Big Gulp" is, and what a "venti" is and what a "supersize coke" is...they would huddle together and angrily murmer in German...and nothing would ever change ;)

When they were first developing the small SUV (Tiguan) and we saw the trunk, we died laughing. We took a group of engineers to Costco. We did a focus group and for a car that is for a "family" in Europe, our respondents would be like "oh this would be perfect for a single woman". That model has never reached its sales goals in the US...

I had my first Costco run in my electric car, and my first ever non suv car. Oh how I missed my suv. We had to put the back chairs down to fit everything in. Thank god the back chairs would go down.

Funny story: my brother was here in US for a convention and this was after starbucks. So he calls me from TX and says "what are these people carrying in their huge cups?" He was referring to venti cups. I said most probably a latte. He was grossed out that adults can drink so much milk on an going basis. He also complained that even after he asked for a double espresso the coffee was weak.
