yesterday I did make it to the gym and did 15k on .the bike that was enough and went home. today I will lift as well as get my steps in. its hard to get steps in when you work at a desk and aren't shopping :)
QOTD: I'm from Georgia, I must have air conditioning all the time or I will die. Growing up we always had it installed centrally. my FIL doesn't have it and there are only fans. I can't stay there long.
plans for weekend- supposed to be looking at houses tomm in Chattanooga, the shine has worn off and house are priced higher than in my town so I'm crabby and grumpy about it. also it has been hard finding parts for our bus which we are supposed to be 'living in' so I don't have to dive the 2 hours one way all week and not have to rent air bnb which I don't like either. sooo - I'm a crabby monster. on the plus side, ive been sleeping really well and the new job is not bad... yet...
food for today
coffee
water
coffee

tofu/bean sprouts/zucchini stirfry
not sure on dinner yet...
Morning everyone! In the midst of 3+ days of an Extreme Heat Advisory here in MD. Our wifi at home gets spotty with extreme weather so I took it as a sign from the universe that I needed a Friday off.... Spending a little time on the porch with the cats, who are one by one going back inside because it's too hot!! I get it.
Update: life at work has been very stressful but I'm managing to keep pretty up to date. Life at home is deteriorating even more and not sure what the next move is. Weight has been up 1 1/2 pounds and is now back down 2 pounds. Workouts are hard with the heat but lifting heavy in the gym A/C but not much cardio because of the heat and I REALLY need the stress relief as well as burning calories. Food has been all over the map. Trying to super-hydrate but the heat/humidity makes me erpy so not always the best choices...a work in progress!
Menu: 2 cups of coffee w/ Miralax thus far. Will include: CarbMaster yogurt (x?), Lactaid cottage cheese w/ berries & slivered almonds, EverRoast chicken, baby carrots and hopefully either fish tacos or salad from Whole Foods.
Have a good day everyone!

Good morning! I've been working for a few hours to get ready for my 6 am call; it's going to be a long friday and will be glad to see the end of the day!
QOTD - Saturday I have girl time with my bestie for manicures and a movie; Sunday I have Pilates, a massage and a concert (Seal) at the local botanic gardens. I am curious how many times he will play Kiss from a Rose as that's the only song I know. I am also curious about the safe place I put my ticket.
My photos today are a picture from the Costa Rica office; a picture showing the woefully small coffee cups my hotel provided and a picture of the even smaller ones they had at the office and the to go cup I had to go buy to keep up on my coffee levels.
I didn't get to the grocery store when I got home yesterday - I was exhausted and not up to 5 pm crowds! Also, tip for everyone - when you bring back too many bags of coffee, you get pulled for the "let me check all your food" security screening:-)
Menu is
Coffee
B - Carbmaster Cin Raisin Cottage Cheese and .5 oz pistachios
L - L&F Greek
D - 3 Ever Roast Chicken and 1 oz cheese
S - frozen built bar
Have a great day and weekend everyone!

I think they are espresso size cups! Aren't they? I always thought an espresso packs more caffeine than an americano but I was proven wrong. Somebody a while back showed me an article and study that espresso doesn't have as much caffeine as we believe just bcz it tastes so strong.
