Good morning and happy Thursday. My accountability was spot on until after dinner. I was stupid. I made chicken fajitas and had one street taco sized tortilla (the macros actually fit for me yesterday). Well, it killed my blood sugar and I spent the rest of the night eating. all. the. food. trying to stabilize things. I KNOW better but couldn't stop myself. I feel like crap today and now have to go through the whole "decarbing" thing again.
QOTD: Basically the same as you, Em. The thing is, I CAN be satisfied, not full, but satisfied with 2 oz of food, particularly since I basically eat every 3 hours, but I don't do it. Also, I can't for the life of me lose a single pound now. I can gain easily, but even if I'm eating 100% on plan (and I still weigh, measure and track) and exercising (which I do every single day) my weight either stays flat or goes up. I wish I was one of those people who could say this was the best decision I ever made, I have no regrets, etc. But there are days when I'm just not that person. It's very demoralizing.
My plan:
B: 3 oz ground turkey, 1/3 C cauliflower risotto, tsp of grated parm
L: 3.87 oz leftover BBQ chicken thigh meat
D: the great unknown again. I have shrimp that needs to get cooked or thrown out or steak or ???? I guess it depends on which spin class I take. Taking the earlier class (and by early I mean 6:30) leaves me more options
S: homemade latte with 5 oz milk, I brought a L&F yogurt for before the gym.
I hear you on being demoralized...it's like, how damn little do I have to eat to lose weight this far out from surgery?! I wish to god I was one of those people who was like "Oh I just have no hunger". Alas, the head stuff is way tougher than expected!
I have to remind myself (and maybe you can too?) that I am still INFINITELY healthier and smaller than pre-WLS. So there's that.
QOTD: Not applicable. I'm only 5 weeks out. However, I have noticed some relaxation in the 'vigilance' about food that I've had since surgery so I can understand some of the responses to the QOTD.
It's not super hot where I am, so I'll be throwing some chili in the crockpot this morning. Trying vegan chili because my tummy still isn't tolerating meat well. I purchased some Lactaid so now I can have dairy, though. Yay!
B: Cheese rollups
L: Vegan Chili
S: Vegan chili

Good Afternoon menu peeps!
I have 2 full days - working today then driving to my brothers and changing and going to a wake for a friend of the family. Who knows what time I will get home. Friday I have been working 12 hour days - 9 to 9.
QOTD: In the beginning it was easy to eat healthy- because 2 or 3 bites. How much damage can you do? The myth of course is that you will never be able to eat anything again. Yeah. I can eat all the things.
Still on no morning coffee. :/ Afternoon coffee seems to work.
- overnight oats and protein
- tuna, low carb pita, salad
- white bean veggie soup
- TBD
- S: protein, cantaloupe
