Morning folks!

Well, I started the morning off with great intentions...packed up my cottage cheese and hard boiled egg...til someone brought Panera bagels for a birthday in the office. I don't even know why Bagels are such a weakness for me...they are probably the actual worst thing I could be eating because they slide right through, are LOADED with empty carbs and calories and I just can't say no to them...
I didn't even care that much about bagels pre-op...but they're like kryptonite to me now!
needless to say, I caved and ate a panera bagel this morning. *sigh*...and I was doing so well!!! I was down to 150 again this morning...pretty sure I'm not going below that in the next week now. Talk about self sabotage.

QOTD: it was so easy for me to say NO to bread/carbs and other unhealthy things early on...the first year out I didnt even try anything with any sort of sugar in it and maybe had bread or crackers a handful of times without missing it. It's way harder now and now that I actual feel real hunger it's hard to go more than 3-4 hours without eating something and to feel satisfied with a small amount. I feel the same way about seeing 1/2 Cup of something and thinking "that is not enough" when it really probably is plenty.

Morning: lg mug coffee w/4tbsp sf coffeemate italian sweet cream. then Medium iced blueberry coffee w/almond milk from dunkin
B: panera sesame seed bagel w/veggie cream cheese
L: either the cottage cheese/egg and ham mixture I made for breakfast or the leftover cheeseburger cauliflower mac I brought intended for lunch...I'll probably go for the cottage cheese- higher protein/lower carbs to try to compensate a little for the bagel!
D: crab stuffed flounder & green beans
ES: sf fudgesicle

I sooo hear you, Amber. And even though it was harder in years 2 and 3, it was year 4 that the regain came on (for me). I think that's why for people who are more than a year out, when we see someone at 9 months who is like "my hunger is gone! This is a miracle! Left the 200s and I will never see them again!", while we love the enthusiasm, we all have this grudging attitude that sh*t gets real in years 3 and beyond and so I think sometimes myself and others can seem like real curmudgeons...but we know it's so important to stay vigilant. Like, I wouldn't have dreamt of eating a bagel in year 1, and wouldn't have been able to fit one in year 2. But I had more than one in year 3...and now my clothes don't fit :( It's hard, each and every day, in my case...

Crab stuffed flounder sounds awesome.

Hello, my name is Beth and I am a self-sabotager. You are not alone I promise you that. Funny thing for me is that since school has been out and there is not a teacher's room to walk into or a candy bowl to walk past I have dropped about 8 pounds! I need to come up with a plan for when I return. I know there has to be a balance but I also want to have control over my actions.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

I usually try to ignore all of it, not always successfully. Bagels, doughnuts, cookies, candies including but not limited to M&M's, licorice, snickers, reeses PB cups also pretzels, tortilla chips etc... You name it they bring it in. Most of the time I'm successful, but not always. I had an applesauce cake doughnut once and was in misery the rest of the day, so I keep trying to remember that. I love bread and the bagels are from Einstein Bagels and fresh, so far I've only had one, and I had 1/4 of it and took the rest home. But none of it should really be on my list to eat.

Boy....self saboteur here too. I so feel the struggle too. It usually starts small for me then snow balls into well...I might as well have x since I had y.

its so hard to stay vigilant, even as short out as I am I think that since I had the same amount of something before I can eye ball it.

Good morning all~ I feel fantastic today - NOTHING HURTS! No headache, back, hips and shoulder all good (or way better than recent past). I hope I don't mess it up at the gym tonight cuz it's happening!! I gotta believe that all the trash eating I've done (on and off) for months contributed to inflammation (and all my pain issues) and that keto has helped tremendously with that. Well, whatever it is I feel so good and even more obsessed with keto. The scale has been so kind which is awesome. Today we are having a potluck at work- wish me luck. I know there are good options including the fantastic keto salad I made and I would be fine with only that if needed.

QOTD - I was obsessed with all things RNY! It was easy at first because I was so preoccupied with learning and nailing it. After being able to do it in my sleep, I grew complacent about 5 pound before my goal of 145 and gained almost 35 pounds back. I am now obsessed with keto and feel like I have my groove back - It's awesome!! How do we keep it fresh?

Accountability - amazing!

TSS 2 years, 7 months - 176.3!

B- coffee x 3 w/HC and splenda

l- Salad with avocado, pepitas, cilantro lime dressing and chicken and hopefully nothing else!

d-eggs and turkey sausage

snack - salami

698 cals, 59p/46f/8c

E-gym - cardio and circuit - I will not be a hero today! I just want to get out still feeling good physically and go from there!

Have a great day!!
