Happy Friday Eve, what's on the menu today, RNYers?
I was thinking of that story recently too. My sister was just visiting- she had RNY - she drinks the ice coffee with Premier but also adds liquid sugar free Coffee Mate or International Delights. It was gone in 48 hours.

I need to measure the cheese otherwise the whole thing is one serving for me. That's why I like those prepackaged 1oz cheese cubes.

Good morning menu friends! Quick post for accountability today. Lily and I have our first long walk in and even went farther than usual as I suspect tonight will be so hot it will be a shorter walk. Accountability was good yesterday did't get our last long walk in due to rain but got my steps at work. Food was on plan and weight is 122.2. QOTD how little I could eat right after surgery and how fast the weight came off. Now I could definitely eat more at a time but I force myself to measure my portion and stop when it's gone. It was neat at work yesterday one of the volunteers was talking about her struggle with her weight and we talked for about 20 minutes about weight loss surgery. She said she'd been thinking about it for the past year and in the last week I was the second person she'd met who had been successful with it. Food plan for today B 2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L tuna packet with relish and mayo D 4 oz shrimp S if needed sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of healthy choices everyone! Time for coffee!

Good morning Em!! Friday eve, yay!!! I'm sitting in the San Jose airport ready to get home; last night I finished a book about midnight, went to sleep as have been awake since 230. That's not a lot of sleep even for me -- but they have coffee samples in the souvenir store here at the airport and I keep going back and getting more. Costa Rica coffee is the bomb!
qotd - it was so easy to plan the day and stick to it early out. I need to get back to planning for the week and then just sticking to the plan.
Accountablity - I had Maduros as dessert at lunch yesterday - they were so good, cooked down with butter and cinnamon. I only had three slices and I enjoyed every bite!
Menu - breakfast options here are not thrilling me so I'll have a protein bar and grab some kind of cheese/meat snack for lunch when I hit Houston. I have to go to the grocery store when i land so planning on some ever roast chicken with a cheese for dinner (you've had a hatch green Chile cheese on your menu - is that from the deli? I am interested in finding it!)
ex will be a hip stretching streaming video / I have sat a lot this week and need to get some flexibility back.
have a great day all -- I'm going back for more coffee samples -- wonder if they'd notice me filling my to go cup?

DH and I love to travel and Costa Rica was one of my favorite excursions we rented a car in San Jose and drove to La Fortuna. The hot springs there were so awesome. Then went(I am assuming) south west to the Caribbean coast Lots of monkeys and sloths we were in some surfing town. Hoping to get back there in the next couple years. Got to be honest I'm a little jealous.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm already back in in the US I only saw a tiny bit of San Jose on Tuesday and Wednesday night with pre dinner walks and driving to and from lunch. But to be honest, a two day biz trip that does involve anything other than airport-hotel-office-hotel x2 is a win!

I was awake at 2 AM. Why? My first back to school nightmare! DH and u went to Walmart after his appointment yesterday and I was surrounded by back to school signs and supplies. Ugh. And so it begins.
DH had a lateral bicep tear. He is having surgery to fix it on Thursday and the recovery could take several months. The doctor wouldn't give an estimated time to return to work.
B: soft boiled egg
L: a slice of taco pie
D: eggplant parmesan (from my garden eggplant!)
Lots of fluids since it's supposed to be a bazillion degrees again today! Stay hydrated my friends.
