What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
QOTD- I scar pretty easy and have several on my hands that that used to bother me, but when I look now they have faded. The scars from my original lumpectomies used to really bother me, but now that I had breast reduction those scars are awful. I've been treating them with mederma and I'm hoping they will fade and not look so ropy. Plus I still don't have much sensation on the right side, I'm hoping it will return. The RNY scars are fading so not bad.
Accountability was way off yesterday, somehow I couldn't stop snacking in the evening. Some of it was good ahi jerky, but the rest was way off rice krispies treat, gummy bears... I ended up at 1211 calories, 94P, 15F & 187C way too many carbs.... But today is another day and I will be more successful.
We have our Open Work Order Meeting this morning, I call it the torture meeting. Too much testosterone and not enough focus on what's going on. Too many people talking and not paying attention. I only have so much tolerance for meetings... This too I will survive.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning. Finally moving the scale in the right direction vs. flat. I decided that any snacks, if at all, would be from a very limited set of things - e.g. limited protein bars (not the candy kind), limited fruit, cheese, nuts, dried meats and yogurt. Those are things I really can't overeat and they don't trigger me. So far, so good. So accountability yesterday was perfect.
QOTD - where don't I have scars? I keloid, so every incision scars. Can't wait to see how my plastic surgery heals
PWO - half protein bar
B - 2 eggs, salsa, sausage link
L - Chicken 4 oz, small salad with some nuts
S - cheese and dried meat
D - small salad, protein enchilada (real food brand)
S - regular yogurt with some orange slices
Workout - 45 min circuit am/45 min Peloton tonight. Nursing a quad strain, so nothing too heavy right now
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

G'morning menu peeps!
JB - training for a 1/2 marathon? Wow!!
Gloomy foggy Tue morning, hoping for sunshine by noon. Tonight I have my support group meeting and I have a question about collagen. My facial person recommended I take collagen. I noticed recently I have bags under my eyes, and I guess now that my face is not all puffed up the bags are more noticeable. So she recommended collagen powder for 6 months to get more elasticity in my skin. What do you guys think? I'll ask the NUT who runs the support group tonight, too.
QOTD: scars from two c-sections, but barely noticeable. My badge of honor is a scar I have on my knee, I still blackmail my brother with it. I was about 10 when he pushed me in the pool and my knee hit one of those fountain spouts that were on the edge of the pool (I'm sure they would be considered illegal and a safety hazard in this day and age). 4 stitches but I guess wasn't done properly so it healed kinda weird. To this day if we are on the beach, at the pool, or somewhere that my knee is exposed he shows it to his kids as in dad was really mean when he was a kid.
My meals for the day: (It's a repeat of yesterday, I have too much of them in the fridge)
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Costco Egg bite
- Chicken skewers
- Yogurt or parm cheese
Have a great Tue, everybody!

Ok, so I did add some yogurt plain, with a splash of butterscotch sf syrup.
i'm in an incredibly bad mood. Not sure why. I'm just wanting to feel ok I guess and it's frustrating. I've gotten in over 100ozs...well over it in liquid today and i'm Still a dizzy mess.

HEY! I made it before noon!
haha.
I am hoping the rest of the day goes by like this morning, without incident...not too busy, not too quiet.
I found this amazing pair of high rise WHITE skinny jeans at the thrift store last week and I am wearing them today...I am pretty sure these are the best pants I have ever worn and I was a "no way will I ever wear white pants" person in the past. They're by J Crew and when I looked them up they retail for almost $100 so I got them for a steal at under $10...they seem like they've been worn maybe once, and did I mention they look incredible? lol. I feel great today!
QOTD: I have a scar on my left eyebrow from when my sister threw a spoon at me when we were kids during a siblings fight (we were brutal). it just makes my already weird eyebrows grow weirder.
My surgery scars are mostly abdominal/laproscopy scars: gall bladder, hysteroscopy, RNY and I have a C section scar but since I have a pretty low hanging skin apron, nobody sees that. hoping to have plastics maybe in a year or 2 once I get some other debt paid off and I can finance a loan or care credit...we shall see!
Yesterday my accountability was Awful...I ate so many snacks and just felt hungry all day. So far today I do not have the same hunger feeling...trying to stick to less carby things today and avoid fruit to see if that helps...I need to counteract the overage of calories from yesterday so trying to keep it under 1000 today.
Morning: lg thermos of coffee w/4tbsp sf italian sweet cream coffeemate & caramel extract
B: 1/2C cottage cheese, 3oz black forest ham w/EBB seasoning and dill
L: ranch turkey w/zucchini & asparagus
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: crab stuffed flounder & green beans
ES: TBD-maybe celery & PB or carrots & hummus
Oh---ETA pic of my fierce white Jeans

Look at you, skinny minny in your white jeans!
I totally get the never white jean vibe. I was just like that and now I have three pairs! One of them is actually a spanx Jean. Have you tried them?

I had no idea spanx made real clothes LOL! I've seen their leggings but that's about it.
I am guessing they're kind of pricey though? I mean their undergarments are ridiculous...like $70 for a pair of shaping underwear or pantyhose? come on!
are they worth it?

I haven't tried Spanx jeans, but I have several pairs of their velvet leggings, and like those very much. I have them in cobalt, black, grey and burgandy. I still want to pick up a pair of the dark green malachite color. They are rich and beautiful and I think they look very sleek on. I bought them last fall in size Small when I weighed around 140. Now I'm 15 pounds less, and hope they still fit snugly enough - they probably will, since they look like they wouldn't fit anyone older than 10 when you hold them up.
