Good morning! Hope everyone had a nice Saturday. I had fun at my nephew's fight. He won! And no one got hurt. Phew! But man... cage fighting is vicious! I can't imagine wanting to be punched and kicked for fun.
Accountability: Day one of Keto and I rocked it! No cheats, and I was so full that I skipped a few things that I had planned.
QOTD: What is your favorite music genre? I generally like indie pop/folk rock stuff like Belle and Sebastian, The Smiths, Ingrid Michaelson... But I love running to super catchy pop music like Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson.
Exercise: Spinning

Mornin'!
Another scorcher today. I need to get over to the gym and/or yoga studio sometime today, though. And I'm meeting some friends for brunch at 11:00. Otherwise, I plan to read the two short stories for my short story class this week, and continue my (internet) search for outdoor throw pillows for the porch (I bought one yesterday at World Market - half price. I'm so glad the summer stuff is all half price now - my timing is excellent!). I also need to get a couple of wooden porch rockers, but I think I'll wait until the couch comes and we get it in there - along with the new rug - to see how much space we're dealing with. Rockers can take up a fair amount of space...)
QOTD: I like lots of genres - folk, (mostly classic) rock, bluegrass, blues (esp Chicago style), some popular, some hip-hop, some country (not twangy stuff, though), '70s soul/Motown, most classical, Celtic folk music, some jazz
4 years 1 month out:
B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, diced peach, and SF cinnamon syrup, coffee with half & half
Brunch (11:00 a.m.): we're going to the low carb cafe. I'll get one of the zoodle dishes, as usual - probably the pad thai or the Asian meatballs.
MS: protein shake
D: something low in sodium since I'll be weighed at the surgeon's office tomorrow, and whatever I order at brunch is going to be salty. Maybe protein pancakes again? Or maybe lentil patties with tzatziki sauce??
ex: something at the gym and/or yoga
have a great Sunday, all!

Good Morning Sunday!!
Move over Thelma and Louise, Patty and Louise are headed out on a road trip!! Early tomorrow we are leaving for New Brunswick, Canada to stay with my parents for a week or so. The trip is for pleasure and spying, they're 81 and 83 and make the 7 hour drive by themselves. They've done 3 round trips so far this year, needing to drive back to RI for Dr visits. They both have some serious health issues...
QOTD: Lately I've been hooked on a 70's and 80's love song station on satellite radio. Brings me back to my younger days, happy memories!
