What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
morning my friends!
I am a little late but I had a busy morning and needed to get some work done before posting...I am leaving work early today to go to see "I MOM SO HARD" at the Chicago theater and I am super excited!!! I've been wanting to see them since last year when I didn't find out about their tour til they had already been to Chicago so this is going to be fun...Going with my mom, sister and SIL for dinner first and then the show starts at 8 so it's going to be a late night tonight.
I feel really bad since today is actually DH's birthday but I asked him about it months ago when I bought the tickets and I would've had to work today anyway and we always plan on going to the renaissance faire on the Saturday of his birthday weekend to celebrate regardless, so Story and I made sugar free chocolate cupcakes last night (BTW I found the MOST INCREDIBLE sugar free frosting recipe)--1 sm box of sugar free pudding mix, 1 C cold milk-blend, then whip in 2 C heavy cream til stiff peaks form. literally that is all you have to do.
I used a white chocolate pudding mix and added a bit of mint extract and a few drops of green food coloring. It made way more than I needed for 24 cupcakes so I put the rest in a tub in the freezer and I think it will be delicious ice cream!
I am going to have to bring the leftovers to work on Monday because we definitely do not need 24 cupcakes in our refrigerator!
We are going to the Bristol Renaissance fair on Saturday, as I mentioned before- for DH's birthday...we all got these awesome harem pants (even Story) and we are dressing up as Persian Pirates/gypsies to go with the theme for Swashbuclker weekend (we have always dressed up as pirates for this weekend). I can't wait to share pictures next week lol.
Story absolutely loves going and Joe and I have gone every summer since we met pretty much. It's one of our favorite things we do in the summer...we are total nerds and Love any excuse to dress up haha.
QOTD: I know a lot of different types of people but probably my friend Theresa would be a hoot on a reality tv show about real mom life...actually lots of moms I know would be good for this. LOL
Morning: large thermos of coffee w/4 tbsp sugar free coffeemate
B: 1/2C cottage cheese, 3 oz black forest ham diced w/EBB seasoning, 2 small kiwi's
L: ranch turkey, zucchini and asparagus skillet
D: I think mom is taking us out for deep dish pizza tonight...yes I am going to eat some. Yes, I will be walking around all day tomorrow in the heat to work it off LOL.
this is my outfit from yesterday...I felt super cute and Fierce! second pic is me from last weekend when I decided to play around with some of my colored hair wax and do a fun mermaidy makeup look. I wish I could do it every day LOL

You are a beautiful mermaid!! I wish we lived in a world where we could be whoever we are cosmetically, artistically, fashion wise regardless of where we work/industry we are in.

Started today by getting rear-ended by a service van. Waiting for xrays. I'm probably mostly ok, but I know there's some whiplash. My neck and back muscles feel like they're trying to seize.
I haven't had anything except coffee today, but I'm starving. Not sure what I'll be eating later.

I thought the same thing, Beth - either head injuries become her, or she needs to post pictures more frequently!
