Love the sign editing!!! As my niece said when she was rooting for the dinosaurs during Jurassic World -- animals have to eat too and people are meat too. I can't wait until she's old enough to find out about Soylent Green, lol.

"Soylent Green is People" is pretty iconic, I think even people that doesn't realize it's from a movie know the reference, lol. There's a smoothie/drink like called soylent...which I have to say is slightly more entertaining than the new skincare line at target called Versed. Somehow the unwitting cannibalism reference is more amusing to me than sedation skincare.

I'm still working on it, but for now I think I'll be doing the Intermittent fasting 16:8 - so 16 straight fasting hours and 8 hour meal window of 11am to 7pm. The keto macros are tricky because with our ultra low calories it's hard to get the protein we need, so basically I'm increasing the fat calories and wiping out all the carbs I possibly can. I'm starting with 700 calories - 5% carbs/60% fat/35% protein and see what happens. I'm sure I will make a few changes along the way.

I put the books Sheila mentioned to you on hold at the library, very interested in the IF aspect.

Yeah, I tried Keto and found it was great for staying satiated and it definitely helped me jumpstart some weightloss at first, but I found it was tricky for two reasons...
First was the problem keeping calories low enough with the high fat foods. I mean, one of the packages of salami & cheese from Trader Joes is like 400 calories and I only had 800 to play with... I am not sure I ever struck the right balance.
Second, you just can't cheat at all or the whole things goes to **** I would be on track all day and then after an 18 hour day I would get fatigued and eat a handful of goldfi**** was the worst thing I could do because then all that fat stayed fatty and didn't convert to fuel, because the carbs did it instead. I screwed it up too many times and it ultimately contributed to my 9lb weight gain.
Now that I am putting time back into self care, I am up for trying it again. I think the IF might be the key, because you can't do the fatigue eating that I got caught up in. Can't wait to hear how it goes!

I totally get the challenge!! It's super tricky. From what I can see so far (I'm working on a full week menu plan in MFP) if I keep my protein low cal and dense, I can play with the fat calories more.
You're right it will all be for naught if I cheat! It sucks because there is a carb or 2 in everything and dammit - carbs are good!
