What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Happy Friday all! Well I have hit another stall and it's so frustrating! I've tried decreasing my calorie intake and increasing my workout routine and the last few days the scale just won't budge. Ugh! Hoping that will change soon!
B: premier shake and some cashews a little later.
S: protein bar
L: ham and cheese
S: laughing cow cheese dippers
D: not sure yet....I've been on a seafood kick so probably fish of some sort.
I was going through some old photos the other day and found a few of me when I was little.

I can only see one of your pics for some reason, but it is totally adorable!
Oh I should have clarified....found a few, but only posted one. Lol. Thanks though!

Hi all!
I'm at the airport, waiting for my plane to board. I'm off to sunny, HOT Scottsdale for the weekend, yay! I was concerned about being pulled aside and wanted due to extra skin, but I sailed through with no issues, thank goodness!
Last night I went to a fabulous dinner theater in a huge velvet tent. We had the very best seats in the house and it was fantastic, but there was way too much ribeye, and wine. The guy I went with is an ultra oenophile, and I decided I won't have any more when I'm with him. He buys these beautiful bottles and I always feel a little (not much but a little) pressure to share them. Though wine is romantic, for me it really does come down to stupidly empty calories with no real pay-off for the personal cost. I haven't had much and don't really like to drink, and I've decided that any is too much for me, so that is that. But the show was absolutely fabulous!
Below is a pic of the two dogs my wine-loving friend owns. Also, my favorite boots - 4" heels make me 6 ' tall and honestly I feel I can conquer anything when I wear them!
First: coffee and more coffee
B: tuna packet
L: more tuna
D: we're going out, so I don't know, but it will be protein forward.
Have a great day, my friends!

Have a fun trip! You've shared your uneasiness with the wine a few times but you seem very settled now, which has to be a good feeling! If this is a good dude, he'll understand and respect your choice...and if he doesn't, you should go fish again....lots of fishes out there for you!

Have fun!! Pretty sure that he will forget about the wine when he sees those boots.

QOTD- My friend Glenn, he always makes me laugh and wants to be a stand-up comic.
Another fairly successful day I ended up at 829 calories, 70 protein, 17 fat & 100 carbs. The scale was kind and I'm only .5 lbs up from my last lowest posted weight. I'm trying to make sure I get all my protein and water in. I didn't get a workout in yesterday other than walking through Costco and mowing my lawn. About 1000 steps shy of my 10K.
Today I've already done a 2.36 miles in 41:30 so I'm halfway to my 10K goal. I'm working from home on Fridays, so I don't get as many steps in. At work I try to get up every hour and walk around the building and do the stairs up and down 3 times so I can make the 10 flights a day. I should count that as a NSV because the first time I did the stairs when I was interviewing for the job 3 years ago, I was out of breath before I made it up. Now I do it 3 times at a pop and I'm not even close to being winded. What a difference 110 lbs makes. Everything is so much easier.
Have a great Friday everyone!
