What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning,
This summer can not go fast enough. After Surgery in February I am still so restricted on what I can do and I used up all of my Holiday time at work so I have no personal time left till October. I am so ready for a personal day off my head is spinning sitting here.
QOTD: My Drowsy and Mrs Beasley dolls. I would wear them out and my parents would have to replace them. I actual found them both made into glass blown Christmas ornaments that I hang on my tree every year. It's a nice reemergence of the Christmas's with my family as a child.
Accountability: Doing well, Dinner went a little crazy last night DH was late from work and I found myself snaking as I cooked our meal. When he got home I figured I had enough Jerky nuts and baby protein cheesecakes that I didn't have to eat dinner so I forwent that and the scale didn't disappoint today. Glad I backed off when I did.
TSS 1 year 8 months
Doing well with liquids vitamins and I did exercise 1/2 hour elliptical at the gym yesterday.
I may not get to the gym today I have to stop at the funeral home but it depends how long I stay if I go or not.
B: Bariatric Advantage Iced Latte w/Miralax
CB: Dark roast coffee with Stevia and SF ID Caramel Macchiato
MS Sous-Vide Egg bites three cheese turkey. ( HAS ANYONE TRIED TO FREEZE THESE?)
L: chicken salad and Oiko triple zero salted caramel yogurt
D: French onion turkey meatloaf and roasted cauliflower
LS Gloria Jeans Toffee flavored coffee with Stevia and SF French vanilla coffee mate
Everyone have a great day.
Brightest Blessings.

Happy Wednesday. It's going to be super crazy hot today and I already have a headache. Summer in LA. JB, so excited to hear about the job offers! If you have the time, really focus on what you think will really make you happy. Either way, it sounds like there are good things in store for you!
QOTD: I had 2. One was my stuffed Snoopy. My mom found an old cartoon from the 60's where the Peanuts were celebrating Snoopy's birthday and we were born on the same day, so Snoopy holds a special place in my heart. I still have that little stuffed dog. The second was a "little people" amusement park. It had a ferris wheel, merry go round and a few other rides. My brother and I would set up the whole thing and play for the entire day!
My plan:
B: chicken thigh meat or ground turkey and cauliflower rice. I have both with me, and havent had anything yet, so I guess it depends on which one interests me more.
L: whatever I don't have for breakfast
D: ?????? I didn't take anything out. Maybe a bunless burger on my way home from spin??
S: homemade latte and I have sliced turkey and a string cheese for before class. If they have them out, I'll likely grab a baby green apple after class. . .although maybe it's time to break that habit.

Good morning my RnY friends! Happy Wednesday!
It's cold up here in Seattle, cold and damp. I'm wearing jeans, a long-sleeved, cowl-neck velour top (can you imagine wearing this in July?), and knee-high boots (with gorgeous 4" heels. I love love love my boots!). I'm still cold! I'm very close to the water here and it really does effect how the chilly weather penetrates your body. Brrrr!
QOTD: When I was very little, I loved my stuffed basset hound, Morgan. This was a 1950's-era toy. I dragged him everywhere, and slept with him every night. I went through three of these (my mom replaced them when they grew too unwashably shabby), and still have Morgan the 3rd. Later I loved my Betsy McCall dolls, and finally, my Barbies.
First: coffee with cashew milk and SF syrup
B: tuna
L: turkey
D: roast beef, Brussels sprouts
Have a great day, my friends!
Cara, your Morgan story reminded me of my DD's teddy. She had been attached to it since she was 6 months old and couldn't sleep without it. So I got 4-5 of them and would wash them without her knowing. One day when I was changing her sheets I just threw it it in the hamper and put the clean one on her bed. She opened her hamper and saw the dirty one. The face she made was priceless. She did one of those cartoonish double take, head swinging to her bed and the hamper. I laughed so much I was crying. I think by the time she left for college we were on Teddy5. I was sad when she left teddy behind. I kept all the old raggedy ones. Teddy5 is still on her bed.

What a cute story, and what a good mom you are, Sheila! My mom used to wash my Morgan(s), and hang him by his ears on the line. Until I was 5, we lived in upstate NY, where winters were cold and snowy. When mom hung him out to dry during the winter, he would pretty much freeze rather than dry, and when she would pull him in from the line, his long Basset hound ears would be standing straight up in the air, conpletely frozen into a ridiculously alert and surprised position. It was a challenge getting at least his ears defrosted and dry enough for me to fall asleep!
I can just picture it...poor Morgan with frozen ears!

Em has a blanket that we had to do the same thing. Replace/wash! And, when they started wearing thin around the edges I had a friend add the silky ribbon stuff around the edges and we had to be strategic so they both could be done in time to be switched out. She thought we had a laundry shoot in her closet as we would reach up on the top shelf of her closet to grab the clean one. It's name was stripe-ed BT.
