What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
JB your day sounds delightful and full of fun!
Since we returned from camping life has been a whirlwind. DH has had several doctor's appointments etc. Turns out the orthopedist thinks he may have detached his bicep muscle. He has an MRI tomorrow and then another appointment to figure out the game plan. If he goes the surgery route he could be off work for 3-4 months for recovery. Lots to think about. Our trip to Tennesse is up in the air right now.
QOTD: I loved to play Barbies when I was younger. I had the Barbie RV, House, and Dream Boat. I loved it.
Accountability: night time snacking occurred. GGGrrrrrr, I must do better. I am going to log everything in MFP today and trying to keep under 50 carbs starting today.
I think I want to start running again. I use to love it and I did a little bit of running with Max when we were camping. I am going to do day 1 of Couch to 5K today sometime.
TSS: 1 year and 6 months/155 pounds
B: coffee and then an egg
L: Chicken salad (leftover chicken from last night's chicken enchilada casserole epic fail dinner)
D: my versions of a Cobb Salad
120 ounces of fluids and vitamins!
Have a great day everyone!
Edited: blew the carb count, didn't run and the snack monster is back...

When I had hip surgery my PT told me walking is just as good as running. I didn't believe her because I always loved the runners high. I do like taking long walks too but I think I want to try running again.

I am so jealous of all you Barbie kids. I wasn't allowed, except for one--she was a ballerina and had a crown attached to her head so I couldn't really do anything with her.
I have to recommend a running app that I got from Stacy! I like it so much better than the couch to 5k--try Jeff Galloway's app for a 5k. This is the website. I find it is much more informative and helpful and I was much more successful at getting to a better pace and building endurance with this method. I went straight for the half marathon app, and was successful. I am restarting it this week, too! Have fun!

Good morning JB and menu folks. Quick post and go for me, meetings this morning and off to Montreal to meet a vendor this afternoon. I hope all have been well, the 4th involved camping, an outdoor/lakeside wedding and Grad parties. Not a moment to rest. I have been working on an outdoor fireplace mantle for under our gazebo and will post pictures when I am done.
QOTD - I had a handheld electronic football game. You could only play as if you were running the ball and your player was a simple dash that you would move through the defense of dashes. A few years ago they did a remake of the game. I loved it.
Accountability was spot on.

Hi Mike - Glad your summer is going well. Did the Blackhawks get fleeced as badly in the Jokiharu/Nylander trade as we think they did?

Hi Jim,
My youngest is a Sabres fan, he was angry at first until he read about Jokiharu. It will be interesting to see how this trade works out in the long run.
