My son loves those P3 packs. At first I bought one to try for myself but now I gotta buy more and more because he eats 2-3 of them in one sitting. Can't complain, he is eating a healthy snack.

G'morning Julia & Menu peeps!
JB - good luck on the interview. Is it still for a school or a different field? Either way hope you get it.
We are ready for the onslaught of people coming our way for the holidays. Half of my fridge is full of skirt stakes, the other half various salads. I'll add some deviled eggs and we are done. For breakfasts the next couple of days I'm making scones and we are buying donuts. Tomorrow's parade will be fun.
QOTD: with DS out of the house and in college next year we will have both kids out. I have been working from home since he was born (17 years) so I've been eyeing a couple of colleges nearby for job opportunities. I wanna go out and mingle with adults again. So that's my plan as soon as we are empty nesters.
Accountability: great. I don't mean to jinx it but since I declared myself in maintenance I haven't been stressing about food or scale and I noticed that I still eat what I'm supposed to eat. I'm not saying I don't follow the rules but I guess after two years the rules have become second nature. And the weight is holding steady.
Starting dinner tonight my meals will be all over the place but for now here is my menu:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Turkey meatballs
- Yogurt or parm cheese
Have a great 4th everyone.

Interview went well! It is for an international for-profit education program that is looking to expand to the US. I would still stay in the field of education but I am definitely taking a break from principaling for awhile if I can.

Good morning and happy hump day or rather, my Friday!! Good luck with your interview JB! I am looking forward to 4 whole days off! We are staying in on the 4th since we are in a new neighborhood and all our fur babies are already stressed about the early fireworks. We will just do a low key BBQ and hope its not too crazy. The rest of the weekend is full of activity - beach, BBQ's, errands, projects and shopping. We are having my sister and her husband over on Saturday - the one I've had a super hard time with since my parents passed away. I'm hoping things are better, we both seem to be in a better place now so moving on is a good thing.
QOTD - In 5 years I hope to still be at my job with 6-9 years to go yet until retirement (I'm a life-er here), to own our home and be financially secure. Beyond that -be healthy, live well and travel!!
Accountability - didn't eat breakfast or finish my coffees but then things went to pot after my therapy appt - hard stuff I had to deal with, then the potluck at work and especially when Rob and I went to out for happy hour instead of going to the gym. It was an emotional day that gratefully ended well. I learned a lot. Therapy - well this therapist anyway is helping a ton in my personal life but she is not the one for food and diet issues at all. I'm torn cuz I don't want to give her up.

Good Morning everyone,
Had trouble getting on yesterday and my day progress so fast missed it.
Today I want to chime in because tomorrow is probably going to be a sleep in day and binge watching game of thrones since I won't be picnicking or parading.
The town I live in Canonsburg (About 20 miles south of Pittsburgh) Home of Bobby Vinton, Perry Coma the Four Coins and Wiz Khallifa has a population of about 9,000 however for the last 57 years our town has had the 2nd largest 4th of July parade in Pennsylvania. There will be over 20,000 people lining the streets for the Parade. The streets is lined with chairs right now in anticipation of the parade tomorrow. It is such a crazy tradition to get your chairs out to hold your viewing spot that people used to get there chairs out a week in advance. It got a bit out of control so the local government only allows chairs on the street 24 hours in advance of the parade. I have no interest in going this year but it is fun because usually anyone who has moved away comes back to visit family and comes to the parade and most classes have there class reunions this time a year to maximize there turn out. Since my surgery no one will recognize me anyway and I'm really not up for explaining myself just yet
