Good Morning! I have a busy day ahead!

I have a final job interview this morning via video conference (eeeeee!), then I'm heading to do some home improvement projects at my old condo that I rent out, followed by more projects at my parents house. I think we'll probably end the day with Chinese food and a movie, so that is what I planned for on my menu.

QOTD: In the spirit of my job interview... where do you see yourself in 5 years? I hope nothing too different for me. Living with Grim, staying active, and doing the things I love, like creative projects and traveling. I am actively seeking a job that is challenging and interesting but won't tax me to the limit so that I can enjoy some semblance of work/life balance.

Accountability: I had a teeny tiny pouch day yesterday and only ate 1/2 of what I planned. I didn't get to all of the planned exercise I wanted, but I was active for most of the day :)

TSS: 3 years 11 months

Exercise: Quick walk/run on the treadmill this morning, then just active all day.

Love that field of flowers--the grass is sooooo green and lush. You must have had a lot of rain like us!

Yes we had some rain all but 4 days in May. And lots of flooding in the areas near the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. The field is behind the elementary school where Lily and I walk 2 times a day. They also have a wonderful butterfly garden I'll get a picture of some morning.

Good morning, everybody. I don't know if this qualifies as Fri-yay. Kelly will have to adjudicate that. Our office is closed tomorrow but open on Friday. However, I am taking Friday off to attend my friends wedding celebration. It's a second marriage, so its pretty low key.

So, I'm not an expert on how internet advertising works, but my understanding is that based on one's search patterns, there are algorithms which suggest products that the computer user may be interested in purchasing and that those products appear as advertising. I bring this up because my computer has been suggesting that I buy a certain pair of shoes, and I have been trying to understand what it is about my personality and shopping habits which caused the algorithim to decide that these are the shoes that i need:

Although I do appreciate the effort that was made to find me suitable footwear, I think that these are going to be a "no". They would particularly make my efforts to ever successfully complete more that one double under in a row particularly difficult as I believe the jump rope would get caught on the tips of my toes, should I be a split second too slow in my jump.

I bought these new sous vide egg bites at Costco yesterday. I am going to try them this morning and will report back tomorrow. They also had these taco shell things that were made from egg and cauliflower and were only 8 calories each. I didn't pick any of those up.

QOTD: I can work seven more years at my company until mandatory retirement. Hopefully, I do last for at least the five years. By that time, all of my children will likely be out of the house. A lot of couples move out of the suburbs and into Chicago once their children are out of the house. I doubt that we will do that because it would only be for a few years. I hope that I am still on this board and focused on my health daily.

Breakfast: Sous Vide egg bites

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Ahi tuna salad at the palm

Snack: Protein bar

Dinner: TBD (maybe leftover burger)

Have a great day, all.
