G'morning menu family!

It feels like Thu, right? At least for the short week people. It is foggy and gloomy here. I just hope we get some sun on the 4th. Not fun to bundle up in sweatshirts in July.

Easy work day because everybody has taken the whole week off. Remember I was worried about DS17 not getting a job this summer? Well, today he has his third interview with a surfing apparel company. So far he has two jobs: 5 guys, and the surf company that actually makes the surf boards. The owner is number 1 shaper in the world so it's a big deal for my little grom to work there. He started training yesterday. For now they are just making him box the boards, he says it takes him an hr per board. They bubble wrap them really good. The glitch in all this is that he has a summer program at UCLA starting this Sunday, for two weeks. Oh well, he will figure it out. He told me with a smirk yesterday "mom, remember you were worried I wouldn't get a job?" I stand corrected my son.

QOTD: I'm trying to postpone this as much as I can but DH is insisting I go paddle boarding with him. I did it in Hawaii on a calm river and it was fine. It's completely different in the ocean with our cold water, the waves and sharks (yes, sharks sightings have become a daily thing in our waters) . He keeps checking the waves for a calm day but I'm just crossing my fingers it doesn't happen.

My meals for the day:

  • Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
  • TJ's chicken fajita
  • Cauliflower rice + eggs
  • Yogurt or parm cheese

Have a great Tue/Thu.

Good afternoon,

Hi Julia, it's good to hear from you.

Yesterday one of my bosses told me they are going to train me to do her job when she needs time off since I did such a good job last Friday filling in unexpectantly. The girl that was going to do her job called in, guess I did better than her.

The bad news, I have a hiatal hernia again so I'll need surgery. It won't be until August since I don't see the surgeon until July 31. At least it won't ruined my vacation. Hopefully it won't ruin my music festival I attend in August.

Qotd working in the office at work last week.

A: I had a piece of cake I took to my potluck on Sunday but it's gone now. Thankful for my coworkers and friend to take it off my hands.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

S depends what they have at work for a snack

D ribs, green beans and ice cream bar

Have a wonderful day

Good afternoon menu friends.

my pouch is feeling a bit better today but i'm sticking to full liquids. I'm dealing with some difficulties with my bi-polar so it's been hard to deal with certain aspects. I see my case manager today and hopefully i'll get my appointment rescheduled for the psychiatrist I was supposed to see last Thursday. I see the counselor that specializes in eating disorders on the 9th.

QOTD: not much lately. Before the revision I had started to do Zumba. It was fun!

Meals will consist of two PP shakes, yogurt and pudding.
