What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Hi Janet.
I eat the turkey ones with cottage cheese and EBB seasoning. Our whole family is addicted to EBB now.

I actually really hate the Lord of the Rings movies, but I definitely appreciate the meals :)
Also, fun fact! My best friend used to be Stephanie Izzard's babysitter!
Glad you had fun at the meet up!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I am still packing the RV and getting ready to leave for camping. It's already brutal (hot and humid) outside which makes me not want to eat. So I have no real eating plan.
QOTD: I am going to try yoga. It's something I really want to try but am super nervous.
B: 1/4 of a left over sandwich from dinner last night
L:?
D:?
Lots of fluids and all vitamins. Keep cool my friends!

Yay Julia!! I am SO glad to have you back again!! And I'm so glad you quit that stressful job!!! No one needs that kind of stress in their life!
Meet-up with Jim (Greateight) yesterday was really great! I had a wonderful time and he picked a fabulous restaurant - I'll be going back there again for sure!! Here's a picture of us. I had DH take several, and I looked like I just walked out of a sauna in all of them (it was outrageously hot yesterday) - so this was the best of the bunch. Of course, Jim looked great in all of them!!
my calories were way too high yesterday, but oddly, my weight is down this morning. We did a TON of walking in Chicago, though. And a ton of sweating, too. Back to my normal eating routine today!
QOTD: I have recently taken up Mah Jongg. Well maybe two months ago. I play with the same group (mostly) every week. At first I didn't think I really liked this game and a lot of the rules seemed ridiculous, but I kept going because I really like the people I play with. But then we missed two weeks in a row because one of the women was out-of-town, and I found myself missing this stupid game. So...I guess I'm hooked. The other thing I recently signed up for was a kayaking group, although I haven't been out yet. Too much rain. But soon. Really looking forward to this.
Four years out:
B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, a diced peach, and SF syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: deli turkey slices
AS: light yogurt and/or raw vegetables with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: salad with diced chicken breast and light balsamic vinaigrette
ex: I'm blowing off my short story class this morning, so I may go to a yoga class
have a great day, all!
P.S. Here's another pic of us, with our dishes this time. I had a Kung Pao scallion pancake. It was fabulous, but really high in calories (I ate half of it). I'd better have DH eat the second half - yikes! I can't afford that many calories again today. It was REALLY great, though!!
