So glad to see you back and out of that horrible situation! I am a type A as well and i have to "plan for fun"...or I don't have fun. My best travel companion still laughs when she see's "planned spontaneity" on our iteneraries.

Quiet week ahead for us. I am packing the RV as we head out on Wednesday for a little get away.

Good morning. Accountability wasn't good over the weekend. Talked about that with my therapist and he helped me understand that I need to get rid of the ALL or Nothing mindset when it comes to dieting. Hasn't served me well and there is no secret store of "motivation" that is going to get me to goal. I have to frame grazing behaviors differently. He asked me why I don't graze much during the week, but go whole hog on the weekend. That's easy - I plan almost 100% of my food ahead during the week and don't go outside of those boundaries much, if at all. So if that works, why not apply that to my home life. So my QOTD goal for July is to plan my entire day and have contempt for those things that aren't apart of my plan. It really works well at the office (where there are cakes, cookies and candies everywhere and everyday). Luckily my weight is holding pretty steady, but I do want to lose to my new goal level.

B - 3/4 cup oatmeal, 4 berries, 1.5 egg

S - Apple; tbs nut butter

L - small salad, chicken 3.5 oz, 2 tbs bbq sauce (leftovers from a pulled chicken dinner yesterday)

S - lunch meat chicken 2 oz; small apple

D - Small salad; smoked turkey 3.5 oz; 1oz cheese

I don't need too much planning, as it's support group night. I won't get home until late. So my plan today is only eat above and no snacking after I get home at 8:30.

Today is my off day for exercise, but want to stretch and do 5 min of yoga tonight. Peloton challenge this month is to do one of their classes each day (incl yoga, meditation, stretching and not just bike or other cardio)

Have a good day everyone!
