Whats on your Sunday menu RNYers?
Good morning from the cornfields of Illinois! Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do another short and another long one throughout the day. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 122.4 today. Laundry is already started and soon Lily will get a bath as she gets really smelly in the heat and humidity. I also have the top part of a picnic table to paint at some point today and a youth group coming in at 1 to weed and mulch flower beds that we'll help supervise. I need to make sure to get my 100 ounces of fluids in as I didn't yesterday. Here's the food plan B2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L 4oz deli chicken and cheese D 4 oz chicken salad S if needed hummus and 4 pretzels. Have a great day full of healthy and conscious choices everyone! Picture of sunrise today.
Mornin'!
sounds like it's going to be another hot, humid, on-again-off-again rainy day here in southern Wisconsin. Ugh. I need to get some exercise in -- maybe I'll go over to the gym later on this morning. I have coffee with a new friend at 9:30, hair appointment at 2:00, then we're off to Chicago. So another somewhat busy day!
accountability could have been better yesterday, but it wasn't awful. Weight still good.
4 years out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt, diced peach, and sugar free syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake, more coffee with half & half
L: either deli turkey slices or a salad with diced chicken breast & light balsamic vinaigrette
AS: I'll take a protein bar with me on the trip to Chicago in case it's needed
D: ?? probably something Middle Eastern - if so, chicken kabobs always work!
have a great day everyone!
Gorgeous sunrise picture Karen!
DH is smoking a brisket today and friends are coming over to get in the pool this afternoon. Looking forward to some pool and friend time.
B: milk and egg
L: cheese and olives
D: brisket and summer squash
Lots of water and all vitamins!

Good morning, everybody. Looks like another nice day today. I made good progress on my porch doors yesterday and will continue working on them today. The goal for the day is to get all of the sanding done so that they can be painted this week. We have plans next weekend, so I would really like to be able to finish up the project by Friday.
My younger son helped work yesterday, which I appreciated. My older son actually went out driving which so that is good as well.
I've been doing CAMAW this week which has helped get my weight moving again. I had been more focused on fitness the past couple of months, but now I think that I really want to get to 195 before I decide that I am in maintenance.
Breakfast: Bratwurst
Snack: Meat stick
Lunch: Chicken
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Happy Sunday all!
So I think I need to have a serious talk with my dietitian at my next appointment. I'm finding it hard to stay around 800 calories. I find that some days I'm still hungry and I'm wondering if it's really hunger or just head hunger? Some days I get that really full feeling and other days I feel like I could eat more. I've been trying to just drink water when I feel like I'm "hungry." Sometimes it helps other times not so much. I feel like maybe I'm eating too many meals a day or not enough dense protein or just giving into the head hunger if that's what it is. I just know I need to get it under control or I'll never reach my goal weight and be able to maintain it. I cringe every morning when I step on the scale. I just want to be able to get on track and stay on track.
B: premier shake
L: turkey deli meat and cheese
S: peanuts, fruit or a protein bar
D: probably fish or scallops with some broccoli or yellow squash from the garden
S: if I'm still hungry, L&F Greek yogurt
Also....something I've noticed is that I'm addicted to baked salmon now. I eat it at least twice a week. I could seriously eat it everyday!

Feeling absolutely awful today. My stomach just won't calm down. Almost all day i've had the feeling of needing to throw up and other stuff. Thinking I may of caught a stomach bug. I had a shake for breakfast and some meatloaf I made which promptly made me feel icky. Sooooo for the rest of the day i'm Thinking liquids. Got some cleaning in but just the bathroom. Something is better than nothing I guess.
hope you all have a good Sunday.
