What's on your Fridsay menu,(Photo Friday),RNYers?
Yogurt Crisp sounds like an oxymoron.

Mornin' All!
well my lab results are starting to come back. Don't like what i'm seeing with some of them. Nothing out of the normal range yet, but I'm noticing some not-so-great trends, such as B12, ferritin, and PTH. I'm kind of wondering if my Reclast infusions are mucking with the PTH - not sure. I'm going to bump up my B12 and iron supplementation (although I know it's notoriously difficult to bring up ferritin levels with more oral iron) and have them recheck in six months to see if it's helping any. ARRRRGGGGH. My labs have always been great (other than prealbumin - which is OK if I average 100+ grams of protein a day), but I may be hitting that point (at four years out) where deficiencies start to become an issue.
I was hoping to go to a yoga class this morning, but we're having torrential downpours that started around 6:00 a.m. Electricity has been off and on. I think I'll wait and go to an afternoon class instead - hopefully things will calm down by then. Lunch out with a friend. She wants to go to an Italian place. These can usually be problematic, but I noticed that this particular place now offers a zoodle option with some of their pasta dishes - so I'll go for one of those.
four years out:
B: protein pancakes topped with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, chunks of 1/2 a mango, and SF cinnamon syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: maybe a protein shake (although we're having an early lunch - so may save this until later)
L: probably a pasta dish made with zoodles. I hate to get something like spaghetti (with marinara sauce and meatballs or sausage) because I can easily make that at home, but a lot of the other pasta dishes feature cream sauces - so still a lot of calories. So I may cave and just get spaghetti (with zoodles)
AS: if needed, a protein shake
D: sushi or deli turkey slices, depending on where I am calorie-wise by then
ex: hopefully yoga
have a great day, everyone!
happy friday everyone!
Tomorrow is my birthday, so DH is attempting to make a sugar free lemon curd for me because it's my favorite, and then he is going to put it into a sugar free cake as a filling. I admire his ambition, it's super sweet of him and I admit I am pretty excited to try it LOL.
I was back down to 150 this morning, whew! I was really hoping to get to 147 by my birthday but I didn't so it is what it is. I will do it though...It's only 3 lbs but it's definitely feeling more like 30 these days with how much harder it is to lose!
We have a relaxing weekend of no real plans, which is exactly what I wanted for my birthday...we are probably going to hang out at the beach tomorrow if the weather holds up, so I am looking forward to getting some sun on this pale skin of mine!
DH is taking Story to her first Swim lesson this morning. I wish I could be there too but he is off on Fridays so it seemed like the best time to schedule her classes...she's been asking me about swimming lessons for like 3 weeks so I figured we'd try it out...especially since we have the beach so close, it would be nice for her to learn early so she doesn't need to wear those cumbersome floaty things all the time!
Morning: coffee w/3Tbsp SF hazelnut coffeemate, then a large iced coffee from Dunkin
B: leftover crab/pea/bacon salad
L: turkey italian sausage, kale & sweet potatoes
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: DH is grilling a huge NY strip steak my mom gave us on father's day since he had to work, its 1.5lbs so plenty for all 3 of us LOL...and a fresh caprese salad
ES: sugar free lemon curd :)
this is a picture of Story DH took when they went to the splash pad on tuesday...I love it so much I made it my phone wallpaper LOL.

Happy birthday, Amber!
And yes, the more you lose the harder it gets. But keep at it!
