What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
morning everyone!
Story and I walked down to the beach after we got home yesterday to get some sunshine and a little bit of exercise and it was a gorgeous evening...we stayed til about 7:15 so it was a little later than usual for her bedtime last night. I had to rinse off the sand and everything when we got home and she was in bed by 8pm, but she woke up a few times crying because she was having bad dreams and it makes me soooo sad when she has bad dreams. She's only 4. she should be dreaming about candy and unicorns, not monsters trying to eat her.
Needless to say, I did not get a great night's sleep...I tried to soothe her back to sleep a few times and then I could not fall back asleep myself for a while, so it was a rough morning. I have already drank a ton of coffee.
Morning: about a gallon of coffee...lots of sf creamer (yes I am drinking calories this morning and I don't even care about it)
B: 1/2C cottage cheese w/cinnamon & craisins
L: crab salad w/peas & bacon
AS: L&F greek yogurt, small nectarine
D: I asked DH to set something out to thaw because I forgot before I left, so it will be a surprise lol
ES: Enlightened ice cream bar

Good morning~ Friday eve! Didn't end up at yoga last night. I got out of work early and didn't want to wait around for another hour for class so I went home and hit the gym by my house. I was a bit irritated and I took it out on my workout and overdid it. My hips are really sore today but I still feel good. Hitting the gym again tonight but will take it a little easier. I was able to watch the debate last night which I would have missed if yoga had worked out, so I'm glad. It was interesting and I look forward to tonight's debate also.

My calorie total was good for yesterday, but in the evening I couldn't seem to stop snacking. I ended up at 870 calories, 88 protein, 102 carbs, 15 fat. Good protein but a lot of carbs. I did go out walking right after working I did 2.2 miles and 40 minutes. It was good that I did it right after work because about an hour later we had thunder, lightening and torrential rains. The positive is that I didn't need to water my garden today and it's supposed to rain for the next few days.
I was planning to go to the gym right after work, due to the rain. When I pulled my gym back out, something had been spilled on it. I threw it in the wash here's hoping that whatever it is will come out. I will plan to go tomorrow and do the treadmill tonight.
Today we are going out to lunch for the person who is retiring. I think I can have the salmon and it should be good, I'm sure I can take most of it home.
The scale was kind and I'm now only 2lbs from my last low weight. I need to stay focused on making it to goal. I'm thinking of getting some personal training sessions at the gym. I want someone to push me, and get back into weight training. There are a couple of trainers that I know and I will try to get sessions with one of them.
Have a great Friday Eve everyone!

Quick post. Saw my surgeon today and yep i'm Dehydrated. I have to go tomorrow to get an IV so it's not the worst off it could be. Plus the guy who is best at IV stuff will be there tomorrow. I'm a hard one to stick so i'm Ok with it. Getting serious about the hydration. Also cutting back on carbs. It's what I needed to do to begin with. Going to stick to 25-30 or less for those.
M1:PP shake
M2:turkey sausage 1 - link and a sf pudding
M3:soup with mostly veggies and a little beef
M4:lunch meat with ranch yogurt dressing
M5:egg with 1 Tbs cheese
M6: likely more soup.
Hi! I know we all have our different plans but I see you have soup with veggie and a little beef so my unsolicited advice would be to focus on the protein first and if you have room add veggies (for as early out from surgery you are). I know you're working with your surgeon but thought I'd mention it since getting in your protein is so important along with hydration. Good luck with the IV tomorrow.

i threw the the rest of the soup out! I agree with you and that'll be my focus along with hydration. I had the iv this afternoon. 2 whole bags!
