nice people, but small crowd. The woman who runs it said they've had anywhere from 5-20 people per meeting. There were only five of us today. Oddly, the meal was pretty well balanced - not all desserts or something..which is always the risk when there are only a handful of people (there was moussaka, a salad, my lentil things, bruschetta with olive tapenade, and a Swedish almond cake). But five people - that means I have even more of these lentil "things" than I thought I'd end up with. I hope DH likes them...(I like them, too, but at 75 kcal a pop, I can only have one or two a day. I'll pack five a day for him in his lunches!! And give him some at dinner, too!!)

Good Morning Karen and Menuers,

Today On the Cart is closed as I am taking my mom to a Phillies game. My brother got her tickets for Mother's Day but I am the only one who will take her so we had to wait until I got out of school. Who knew when we picked this date it would be 100,000,000,000,000 degrees outside! I am super hydrating now and will drink plenty at Citizens Bank Park during the business persons special. Thank goodness my brother was smart enough to get us in seats in the shade. I am not a Phillies fan but my mom is and any day at the ballpark is a good day :)

Accountability: spot on

TSS 1 year and 6-months/weight 157.5 I am super stoked to have lost a few more pounds this week.

B: milk and then a protein shake

2 bottles of water

L: not sure - a few bites of whatever my mom wants because I won't eat that much

bottles of water

D: not sure but probably Cheddarwurst with onions and squash

120+ ounces of fluids and all vitamins

Have a great day and Go Phils!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Kelly, do you have hard time swallowing the albacore tuna? I've tried it couple times and it's too dry for me just like chicken breast. I've gotten a little better with the chicken but not the albacore. As soon as it hits my mouth I want to spit it out. Sorry, TMI! I was never like this before surgery. My brother had the lap band done many years ago and he's the same way with chicken.

Hey Chris, I haven't had issues with anything like that (I know I'm one of very few). My daily albacore is canned and I do mix it with plain ole yellow mustard. But I also eat Mahi-Mahi/albacore patties or fillets (like the innards of a taco) without any problems. I do try and take small bites and chew well. I know Daisy and a few others use a balsamic dressing with their tuna.
