Nice going with the down trend!!

So sorry about your trainer, that's heart breaking. I would be lost without my trainer.

Hey there menu peeps!

Acid has been acting up... did it ever really stop? Went to gym early was so nauseous from acid....and we finally have a beautiful day and I want to go in the pool after work. In my quest for #alltheparttimejobs I have included GNC. I actually do not hate it. I am working with all the Bros tho. I laughingly say I took it to support my protein habit.

You would be surprised how many WLS patients come in. I now know more about testosterone support and taking a cleanse to pass a drug test for employment than I ever cared to. Who knew? Add that to my newly found info on chimney sweep in Texas for my writing job and I am a wealth of minutia.

QOTD: I cannot put my finger on bands etc. But you might find this funny- When I workout I usually listen to the Hamilton soundtrack. 90 percent of the time. If not I listen to Christian hip hop.

  • Food:
  • Pre/post workout: ½ Premier, small banana, protein muffins
  • eggwhites, spinach, lite mozzarella and one slice Daves killa bread
  • My eggplant Parmesan, salad
  • costco roast chicken, cauliflower mash
  • S: lite Swiss and Wasa, apple, protein powder
  • ex: gym day and poolside!

Ooooh, do you get discounts on quest bars at GNC? They are my crack, try to stay away from them but love them so much. I hear ppl eating only 1/3 or 1/2 a bar (who are they?) but I can eat 2-3 of them in one sitting.

Yes discount on everything. 20-30 percent depending on the item. And they give it to you on top of the sale And you still earn rewards. Plus if you ever worked retail you get to see when anything goes on clearance or is discontinued and can snatch it up.

Staring down the snacks daily is hard sometimes when it is slow.

Happy Wednesday, menu peeps!

Up slightly to 125.0 - I prefer 124 only because it leaves a little more margin for me to stay in 125-land, but this is nit-picking: I am happy being at goal and and am feeling great!

This QOTD is impossible for me to narrow down to a succinct response. There are just so many wonderful musicians! Just a few off the top of my head: Al Green, Aretha, Marvin Gaye, Smokey; Jimi, Janis; Sandy Denny, Fairport Convention; The Grateful Dead; Rusted Root; Jim Beer & The River, John Gorka...I could go on.

I think my thyroid medicine dosage may need to be reduced. I actually feel better when I don't take it, and when I do take it it seems like it makes my heart race a bit. I'm going to schedule a blood test to be sure my levels haven't been over-corrected, this making me a bit hyper-thyroid rather than hypo. Or maybe I don't need it at all anymore!

First: coffee with cashew milk, cinnamon SF syrup

B: ham, a little cheese

L: roast beef*

D: more roast beef. Brussels sprouts.

* I've been making myself an Angus top round roast every 10 days or so. I eat this for several days, and of all the proteins, I find this to stick with me the longest, as far as not being hungry is concerned. Tuna has that effect, too.

Have yourselves some fun today, my friends!

QOTD: Ed Sheeran,Halsey,Post Malone I know I'm older and will always be a die heart Springsteen ,Stones ,Beetles, And on and on and on fan but I been digging the new stuff out there. Everything new but Dean Lewis I literally cringe when he comes on the radio. Anybody feeling me MATE errrrr

TSS 1 year 7 monthS

B: lemon tart Oikos yogurt, blender grain free Apple cinnamon muffin, ham

L: chicken salad bacon cheddar crisp teriyaki beef jerky and a cheese cranberry nut pack

d shrimp wrapped in bacon and marinated in Italian dressing and some veggie

Vitamins and 100 oz liguid

have a good one everybody and Brightest Blessings

good morning my friends!
It is sooooo beautiful out today and I am wearing bright colors and feeling good on this hump day...

I did great yesterday and was down 1.5lbs again this morning, so that's good news...I really am still striving to try to make it to 147 before my 18 month surgiversary in August, and the lowest I've seen so far is 150...I keep fluctuating between 150-154 and I want a bit more of a cushion for possible bounce-back.
I know if I really crack down I'll be able to do it but I am getting comfortable and haven't really buckled down hard yet. I've been in maintenance mode instead of weight loss mode and I've been OK with it...I am sure if I start to see an incline I'll probably panic enough to kick it up a notch.

QOTD: I have so many favorites, and my musical taste is all over the place...I love 80s pop/rock and have a soft spot for Heart, Queen, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper and Journey...but I am obsessed with Mike Patton (Faith No More and a multitude of other bands/projects). I've gotten to see him perform live a few times with different bands and he is incredibly talented and mutli-faceted. I also really love Perry Farrell (Janes Addiction/***** for Pyros) and Sara Bareilles for the same reasons although her music is at the opposite end of the spectrum haha.

Morning: 2 Large thermos's of coffee w/4 tbsp sugar free creamer
B: turkey sausage, kale and sweet potatoes hash
L: Lunch meeting today-catered so I ordered a pecan crusted chicken salad from Alonti
D: crab/bacon and pea salad
ES: L&F greek yogurt & pretzels

If you have never heard it, listen to Jane's Addiction's cover of Ripple. It's wild. Robert Hunter said it made the chewing gum fall out of his mouth the first time he heard it.

Good afternoon,

I had a counseling session this morning. It was good.

Last week I lost my Fitbit out of the band so yesterday I got a new one. It measures your sleep cycles. Last night I only slept deep for hour and half, it was mostly light. Quite interesting.

Well my upper gi wasn't so bad. The tech did say something about reflux during the procedure but now it's a waiting game.

Qotd Mercy Me and King and Country

Accountability was good but I had a few goldfish crackers at work

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

D sirloin roast and coleslaw

Have a good day
