What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good Morning Karen and Menuers,
Yesterday I picked, snapped, washed, jarred and canned 21 quarts of string beans from the garden. I was totally exhausted last night and today I will be doing the same thing. Good thing I have the time to do it and more importantly I like doing it. Gardening brings me peace.
Accountability: I ate an oatmeal raisin cookie and it was good
TSS: 1 year and 5 months/weight 159
B: soft boiled egg and a piece of bacon
L: chicken salad with grapes
D: smoked turkey and yellow squash
Planned snacks: Cookies and Cream protein shake and watermelon with feta and basil
120+ ounces of fluids/all vitamins
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, everybody. Quick post for me, the cleaning lady is here, so I am looking for an excuse to get out of the house. I think that I will go get coffee. If I knew that she was coming, I would have taken a shower so that I could get my hair cut this morning.
I have a meeting for the non-profit that I work with to learn how to fill the Treasurer role next year. I think the hardest part will be to learn how to use the software for the monthly financial statement.
For now, I will make a coffee run as soon as I hit "Reply"
QOTD: We watch Christmas Vacation on Thanksgiving night.
Breakfast: Bratwurst
Snack: Ham
Lunch: Hamburger
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

First time in a long time I've made my 10000 steps + 383. Plus I avoided snacks and alcohol. I came in at 669 calories 63 protein, 62 carbs, 19 fat. The first day was successful, so I will just continue on. I weighed 1 oz of ahi jerky out and just ate it. It's always been portion control with me, especially with snacks. It is too easy to eat from the bag and not realize how much you have eaten. So I'm back to measuring out only what I will eat and stick to it. I also avoided the late night candy fix. So I feel really good all the way around. The scale dropped 2lbs which tells me it was water weight. So if I keep drinking enough I should drop the rest fairly quickly and continue to my goal weight.
Today there is a retirement party here, so I will try to avoid it. I tend to stay away from potlucks as there usually isn't much that I can eat. I will especially stay away from the chocolate cake with raspberry filling.
It's supposed to rain starting tomorrow for the next 3 days. All I can say is my garden needs it.
Have a great day everyone!

morning guys. post and run for me, I'll have to come back to read later...
I was super busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to post, and the weekend was crazy full of action too...I had a wonderful shopping/fashion makeover with my friend Marisa and did a youtube post about it if anyone is interested I'll link it here .
I also ate ALL THE FOOD on sunday, it was truly my old fat self at my nephew's 3rd birthday party--I ate pizza, chips & dip, and CAKE...I was too afraid to even attempt to log it into MFP and decided that yesterday I would make up for it...I stuck to my plan and I am back on track but I haven't weighed myself since Saturday morning and I am afraid for the number EEK. I am sure I consumed more calories on Sunday than I have in any one day since my surgery.
today:
Morning: coffee w/3 tbsp sf creamer, another coffee w/ half packet pf sf hot cocoa powder.
B: 1/2C cottage cheese, 2 oz black forest ham diced & ebb seasoning/dill
L: 3 stalks celery, 8 baby carrots, 1can tuna w/light mayo and 2tbsp hummus, 1 small nectarine
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: turkey italian sausage, kale & sweet potatoes
ES: halo top ice cream
