Whats on your Monday menu RNYers?
G'morning all!
I had a great weekend full of NSVs. We've been having the June gloom in my area. Haven't seen the sun in 10 days and temps are in low 60s. So Fri night we decided to drive down 2 hours and go to a water park that is practically in the middle of no where, but is such a great place and always sunny. First nsv: when DH suggested the water park I didn't panic thinking I can't show myself in a bathing suit. Second nsv: the bathing suit from last summer was big on me (there is a difference of 15 lbs from last year) but it was too late to get a new one so I rolled with it. Third nsv: while at the park I didn't hide behind a sarong, I did all the rides, multiple times, screamed at the top of my lungs on the scary ones and couldn't care less if ppl saw/heard me. Last but not least they weigh you for EVERY single ride. Two years ago I wound have been mortified but this year I stepped on the scale with no fear. All in all great weekend splashing in the pool.
Accountability: great. Wed is my surgiversary so I am pushing really hard to get to my personal goal of 140...we shall see.
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Eggwich
- Chicken skewers
- Yogurt or parm cheese
Have a great start of the week, everybody.

YES!! Paso Robles. It was sooooo fun and sunny.
They didn't used to do that when I went there ions ago but I guess it's a new rule. I saw them turning ppl around on a 4 man ride when the weight was too much. To be fair they were weighing everybody, even the little ones. I guess they have a high and low limit now. I can see little ones going air born, if they are too light, on those really steep slides.

It's always hot and sunny there. When I first moved to CA, we lived in Paso. My mom grew up there!

Oh, so answer this question because all weekend we were wondering. What do ppl who live in Paso Robles do? It seems so far away from everything.

They drink!! Paso is total wine country - over 200 wineries there! SLO is 30 minutes south, but there is nothing north on your side.
