Is this normal?
Another rule of thumb is that the average seems to be losing 50% of our excess weight by the six month mark. It looks like that would be 100 pounds for you so you are close.
The munchies comment so early out is troublesome to me. As someone else who needed to lose 200 pounds, if you do not do everything right, you will have a hard time reaching your goal. It is just harder for us to lose it and keep it off if we do not develop good habits and lose it as quickly as possible.
Good luck.

Thanks all. I'm a little confused about MyFitnessPal though...maybe I still don't know quite how to use it, but whenever I enter my food in that I've eaten it tells me I haven't met my calorie intake for the day. If my calorie count isn't at 1000 or above I get that message. What am I doing wrong??
Anyway, I have been cutting my calories and upping my exercise routine so hopefully I'll start seeing results.

Madison Rose, I had that same question about MFP. I was told that there is no way to turn off that 1000 calorie warning, that MFP wasn't designed for Bariatric patients and that we just need to live with it if we like using MFP. It still annoyed me though.

Thank you for your reply! It's good to know that I'm not the only one. Figured I just didn't know how to use the app and was doing something wrong. It is definitely annoying though.
