Good afternoon everyone.
my day is going so slow. I can't exercise due to the cataract surgery but have done some walking. Can't wait to get the other eye fixed up next Tuesday so my eyes will match sight wise. It's all wonky and I have a slightly dull headache all the time. I'm also still very exhausted but my bloodwork came back pretty ok. Showed I was dehydrated so i'm Drinking more. Also found out some other health stuff from a CT scan. Severe degenerative disc on the L4-5. A cyst on my right ovary AND a kidney stone rattling around in my right kidney. Fun stuff LOL. It's always something :)

Well...apparently sugar free cool whip does NOT agree with me at all.
edited to add I did indeed end up throwing up. Gross!

Feels like a brick sitting above or on my stomach. I feel like I need to throw up but can't.

that stuff is hard for me too, I think it's all the air in it and it gives me terrible gas pain for hourssss.

so here I am at the end of the day again LOL...
I swear I forgot to post because I thought I already did...then I came back to read more comments and realized that was yesterday haha...oops.
I am making a grocery list for the weekend and planning my meal ideas for next week. I've been pretty much maintaining for the past month or 2, fluctuating between 150-153 and weighing about 2 times a week but not always at the same time or day...so I am going to consciously set myself a day and time to do that as well as kick it into high gear and try to lose another 3-5lbs just to say I made it to a "normal" BMI...I need to get to 147 for that...I think If I can keep my cals under 1200/day and kick up my movement just a tad, I can make it happen! I've been eating closer to 1400 average lately and although I feel happy at this weight, I know that it can easily come back if I am not super diligent and I'd ideally like to have a little cushion.
I really never want to get over 160 again...is this realistic? considering the "bounce-back/regain" people report of 20lbs or so after year 2 once the malabsorption stops, I am nervous that I've not lost enough but I don't want it to become an obsession and I got my first "you're getting too skinny" comment this week from a co-worker. it was said lightheartedly and only half serious, and I don't think I look too skinny at 150lbs, but in comparison to where I was when I started, I am sure it's a drastic difference.
So...I'm doing some serious meal planning and prepping this week and looking for some good low carb, low cal snacks that can help keep me satisfied during the day without adding lots of extra calories.
Today's food:
Morning: lots of coffee--too much creamer (this is the thing I need to start cutting back on- just because it's sugar free doesn't mean calorie free and I probably use at least 100 cals worth in my coffee during the day!)...i need to start using my sf syrups and get over the weird aftertaste.
B: low carb banana bread, small nectarine
L: leftover meatloaf, 1/4C peas
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: ham & cheese omelette & 1 slice low carb toast
ES: 8 baby carrots, 2tbsp hummus
meal prepping tonight: making mexican corn salad and jalapeno cream cheese filling (this is definitely not low calorie but it's going in smoked jalapeno popper stuffed chicken that DH is making tomorrow).
I'll definitely cut back on the other calories for the day to try to make up for it!
hope everyone had a great day and YAY to tomorrow being friday! lol

that bounce back/regain is very common but not inevitable. It's good to build in a cushion if you can - if not you'll need to be VERY diligent. I gained back about 15 lbs. I actually look better at this weight than I did at my lowest, but I'd still like to lose about 5 lbs. I can't believe how hard it is to lose 5 lbs now. When I was SMO, I could lose that in a week!
