What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
This morning I remembered but most days I end up storing it in the cupholder of my car.

Thanks! My new client is from Puyallup, so apparently it works to workout from Washington to Washington...

I deal with sometimes severe IBS. Any time I had cramps because of food I ingested - drinking a lot of warm liquids. Sipping non stop is a way to deal with that. It works, plus it may prevent dehydration and future muscles cramps due to liquids being pulled into the Intestines. Diluting the offending foods works great as long as he liquids go down. I often use mild green tea, but ginger tea would work also, sometimes even better..

hi all
got back home about 6 last night so that wasn't bad. remote today. weight exactly the same as Monday when I left so that is good I suppose.
food plan- leftovers-
B: prot pancakes
coffee
water
lunch either leftover taco in a bowl or wings
dinner either leftover taco in bowl or wings
planning on gym after dinner. also need to run by kroger
recently found out that my gas issues were caused by ALMOND milk??? apparently they put a thickener in it that upsets my tummy! so need to return 4 cartons of new almond milk I bought.
Mornin' All!
not much on the agenda today other than a walk I signed up for at the arboretum from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Seems like it's shaping up to be a nice day (vs the rain and drizzle we had ALL FRICKIN DAY yesterday), so it should be a good day for it. Other than that, I REALLY need to work on the Web site for the organization I chair. I've done some work on it, but I need to do A LOT more.
I tried some Fage TruBlend yogurt yesterday. They're low sugar and 110 kcal. I know some people aren't crazy about Fage because it seems more sour cream-y than yogurt-y (although that's how yogurt is in France, too..), but I personally like that. The texture (or something) makes it seem more filling). Anyway, thumbs up on this yogurt if you're not crazy about sugar-y yogurts. It just has a hint of sweetness to it. I liked it!
Accountability was spot-on yesterday and my weight was down another half pound this morning (which is particularly great since I had sushi for dinner last night - soy sauce is a killer for us salt-sensitive people) - so that "Cleveland weight" from the weekend is almost gone!!
4 years out:
B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and pieces of 1/2 mango, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with chicken breast and light balsamic vinaigrette - OR leftover sushi (3 pieces nigiri salmon)
AS: light yogurt or whipped/sweetened cottage cheese with raspberries, raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt
D: whatever I don't have for lunch, I'll have for dinner
ex: hour-long walk
Happy Thursday!
my schedule has changed recently and you know how we like routine. Screwing up my eating and drinking water. Who knew I would be one of those people in life that would forget???? Forget to eat? I hate the phrase - back on track, but will say I am working to get back to normal.
Trying the Premier protein and coffee thing this morning. Blech!
- Premier coffee
- oats and protein
- spinach artichoke chicken
- turkey on lite rye, salad
- S: Greek yogurt, fruit, protein
Ex: Gym day Back squats and HIIT on the menu

Good morning, everybody. We must be right on the cloud line because Trish has sun and Karen has a downpour, but we have drizzle. Marilyn was supposed to play tennis this morning, but she got rained out, so she can drive me to the train station if I get moving.
One of my sons was up this morning when I got up at 6:00 - I suspect that is a late night vs. an early morning. While we have had some successes, by and large they are slipping back into the up all day sleep all night mode that Marilyn dreads.
I made reservations to have lunch with Trish the next time she is in Chicago, so I am looking forward to that. When I went for tea with Jen, Marilyn described it as "so you are going on a coffee date with a woman from the internet." But tennis was on so she quickly lost interest.
Breakfast: Turkey Meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Light and Fit
Lunch: Didn't make it to get the Ahi salad yesterday, so maybe today
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: Chicken and Brussel sprouts
Have a great day, all.
