G'morning menu peeps,

Back and hitting the ground running work/home/life. Today I have my 2 year check up with the surgeon. My surgiversary is not till 6/26 but they have a seminar today for people who are thinking about surgery and they wanted me to speak. So we combined the appt and the speaking portion on the same day. I'm actually excited to speak to possible new patients. Can't believe 2.5 years ago I was sitting in that seminar defeated but hopeful that the surgery would be the answer to my weight problems.

Speaking of surgiversary I was hoping to be at my goal weight of 140 by my second anniversary but I'm still fighting the same 2 lbs. I have gotten as close as 140.6 but can't keep it there. I guess if I don't see that number I'll just change my goal to "under 145" and be happy. Because size wise I'm OK and I don't mind what I see in the mirror.

QOTD: everywhere in US. I haven't seen many places and keep telling DH every summer we gotta choose a state and go. It hasn't happened yet.

My meals for the day;

  • Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
  • Costco chicken skewers
  • On the rd for dinner : in-n-out protein style cheeseburger
  • Yogurt or parm cheese

Good morning~ I'm bummed we didn't make it to the gym yesterday. My back was pretty sore by the time I got home. Tonight, regardless of how I feel I am going even if it's only to walk on the treadmill because I want to create the new routine. As much as I want to rest my back, movement is probably best. I have my therapy appt today and I'm looking forward to discussing my food issues. I love how objective she is and how open I am to her thoughts and suggestions. I think I am done doing it my way cuz it's just not working. We'll see.

QOTD - Everywhere! Even though I grew up on the east coast, I've never been to NYC so that tops my list.

Accountability - Great until after dinner. I was full but ate a few handfuls of popcorn anyway.
