Mornin' Everyone!
Well I pretty much finished packing last night, so I may run over to the gym this morning since i don't know how much exercise I'll get over the weekend. I've got a two-hour layover in Detroit, so I'll do some walking around there, too. I have to really watch my eating while I'm away since my weight is up this morning and I feel super bloated - although it may be partially sodium or backup. At least I hope so. UGH - I hate this feeling! Although at least feeling like this keeps me from eating too much - the last thing i want to do when I'm feeling like a blob is eat more food!!
I'm looking forward to getting away for the weekend and to seeing my cousin (I have another cousin who lives in the Cleveland area, too, but she and her family will be away this weekend - boo! But at least I'll get to see the one!). I'm not looking forward to the funeral but I do hope to see some former classmates there - it's been over 40 years. One former classmate wants me to go to the visitation the night before with him since he won't be able to go to the funeral. I wasn't planning on going to that since I think it will be way too difficult (moreso than the funeral), but I told him I would. However, his daughter has a baby due later this week, and he said if she goes into labor early, he might not be able to make it. I'm kind of hoping that happens so I won't have to go to the visitation. I'm really dreading that...
4 years out:
B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 a cut-up peach, coffee with half & half
MS: if I have one, then a protein shake (although I'll be eating an early lunch since I have to be at the airport by noon, so I'll probably skip this)
L: cottage cheese with mango pieces
AS: I have protein bars with me, so probably that
D: same as AS. I won't be getting into Cleveland until 7:00, and then I have to drive over to the other side of the city, so I'll be getting to the hotel too late for dinner...
have a great day, all!
