What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
Quick post for accountability this am so feel free to add a QOTD. Lily and I got 1.25 miles in this am at a very brisk pace and will do more tonight as well. After work today we are unplugging the RV and heading 21/2 hours away to Dearborn Michigan for a couple days to see the Henry Ford Museum. We have reservations at an RV park there for 2 nights and will come back here Saturday evening. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday. We got 10,000 steps in. Weight is 123.Heres the food for today B 3 sm protein pancakes with sugar free syrup L P3 pak D 4 oz protein picked up somewhere on the way there S if needed sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Today is field trip day. When I planned this trip it seemed so far away but here it is June 6th already.
After school DH and I have to take Max to the vet. He cracked his dew claw and he isn't acting his normal self. Hope I can get an appointment for today.
Today's food includes:
PP chocolate shake
Vanilla honey yogurt with blackberries
Ever roast chicken and cheese
Leftover turkey burger
Cucumber slices

have a great time at the Henry Ford Museum, Karen - we went there a handful of times when I was a kid and we lived in northern Ohio. Loved it then - but it's been decades!
so construction on our new screened porch starts today!! They will be removing the old deck today and doing some repair work (there's some wood rot underneath it) - not sure what else is on tap for this week. But I'm so glad the show is on the road!! I bought a couple of end tables for the porch at St Vincent de Paul yesterday - $8.50 each! They look like wrought iron (but clearly not - they're too light) with a plate glass top. They're just great. We already have a black metal table and chairs for out there (I don't think that's real wrought iron, either. We've had those for awhile - they were on the deck). I'm currently on the lookout for an area rug and a couch (we'll have storm windows - so these things should be safe. We'll just store them inside the house in the winter). I'd like to get those a used couch, if possible, since those things are SO pricey. I'll also pick up a couple of rockers or Adirondack chairs, but will probably get those new. But first I need to find the couch and the rug..
Accountability was good yesterday, weight down slightly this morning. YAY! Today I'll do another 30 minutes on the bike at the gym as well as walk - looks like it'll be a beautiful day!!

B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and apple/cinnamon compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: lunch with a friend at a taqueria. They have those really small ones with meat, onion, and cilantro. I'll either get two of those, or one plus a side of refried beans (about the same calorie-wise)
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries
D: if I can afford the calories, I'll grill up a Beyond Burger. If not, probably whipped/sweetened cottage cheese

Good Morning, Fellow Menu Peeps! 2 days, in a row! I need a Participation Ribbon, or something, please!
My earliest Short Peeps aren't coming today, so I've been catching up on bills/e-mails/crap...so much crap...
Yesterday was BUSY. but I got my foods/WATER in...went to Zumba...hit the wall...LITERALLY...I have the grace of 2 legged elephant...so sad...Continuing my plan of 6 hour eating window today, to include:
Coffee - plenty of it
Eggs, cooked in butter - yep, butter
Grilled chicken, with salsa
Spinach salad
Greek yogurt
Vitamins/ALL my water
45 minutes outdoor walking
Hopefully I won't hit any walls, while walking...stay tuned !!
