Calcium Chews Question

i have some calcium citrate pills but they make me super nauseous. So I ordered some of the calcium citrate chews from celebrate.

at what stage could I start using the chews? I see my surgeon tomorrow so i'll be asking to make sure what he would prefer.

Probably after the first week. You can take them before surgery and see if they agree with you. Celebrate used to be sweetened with sugar alcohols which bothered me. I dont know if that is still the case.

I had the same issue with the Calcium Citrate chewable, they get me very nauseated. I purchased multi vitamin with iron patches, and find that they work very well, no need to swallow or chew anything.

Please be careful with the iron patches. Some people report that their labs are fine with them, others see their levels completely tank. There's no published research on how effective they are, so the jury is really out on whether they work or not.

I use Barriatric Advantage chews they have lots of flavors from fruits to chocolates and they have variety bags so you don't get bored. Look around on the internet I find them cheaper on other websites other than the Barriatric Advantage web page. BTW the chocolate taste like tootsie rolls
