Good morning, Karen and crew! Glad Lily has her safe place and stay dry. It's humid and feels yucky today. When I'm leaving the gym and don't feel that crispness even first thing in the morning you just know it'll be that way all day.

Today I have to work on annual evaluations so I need to get in a good headspace! Oh and my daughter's school had made some national news and not in a good way.. not sure if anyone had seen the story about racist videos being posted on social media by a freshman... luckily my daughter doesn't "follow" this girl on IG but she had seen the screen shots from other people who posted it... just crazy.

Accountability: I added a few caramel chips to my yogurt but otherwise on plan.

B: SF latte, Eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and 1/2 an orange

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Veggie wrap with Buddig turkey, carbmaster yogurt and dessert latte bar

D: Grilled chicken breast, green beans with butter and Parmesan cheese, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Low carb pita with butter and SF jam, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber and 40 mins of elliptical

V/W: On track

Spending the day today with surgery prep stuff. Waiting for the call with my arrival time tomorrow. Geez! I thought I was nervous yesterday.

When waiting for coffee in the morning, my partner jokingly calls it "perkatory".

Haven't read many posts today. Frankly, reading about food isn't a good idea right now! Ha!

Breakfast: Protein shake; decaf

Morning Snack: LF yogurt; decaf

Lunch: Sieved soup

Afternoon Snack: Sieved soup

Dinner: protein shake; avocado smoothie

Bedtime snack: LF yogurt

Activity: walking

Happy Wednesday!

My parents finally got to Canada, their happy place! They've been spending summers in New Brunswick for 40 years now, but at 81 and 83 time up there is only for a few weeks at a time. Dad insists on driving, alone with Mom. I will be spending some time up there this year, spying for the family to see just how safe they are, alone.

Well since my blisters have finally healed and I've gotten some new shoes, I started back walking this week. It's only day three...my legs and stomach are so sore and I never feel like exercising once I come home from work, but I feel so much better after I get it done. So hopefully this will stick for the long haul.
