Happy hump day menu friends! No walk for Lily and I this am as it's pouring here with thunder and lightning too. Lily's huddled in the tiny dark bathroom in her safe place. As long as she's in there she is fine. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday. We got over 10,000 steps and I had nothing extra food wise. Weight today is 123. One of these days it will drop. We will walk as we're able with the weather and here's the food B1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L P3 pak D 4 oz strip steak S if needed hummus with 4 pretzels. Have a great day full day full of healthy and conscious choices everyone. Now for coffee!

Today we start promotion practice with the 5th grade. I'm so excited because I can really see the end in sight.
We didn't get the pool open last weekend so after work today we are getting everything out to take inventory before we uncover it probably on Sunday.
Accountability was good but I did eat three pretzels last night.
TSS: 1 year and 5-months weight is 160.5
B: vanilla honey Greek yogurt with berries
MS: PP chocolate shake
L: ever roast chicken, cheese and cucumber slices
AS: there is a baby and bridal shower after school hoping to find a snack there
D: more leftover
All vitamins and at least 120 ounces of water

Good Morning, Menu Peeps! I never back in here, yesterday, so going to try earlier, today...One Short Peep already here, but I tucked her in, with her "toons", so she'll be good, for a few mini-minutes, at least!

I started back, with Intermittent Fasting yesterday. I had done it, for several months, but my eating window gradually kept getting bigger and bigger. I'm putting it back to 6 hours today. My food plan includes. in no particular order:
Deviled eggs
Beef meat balls
Spinach salad/strawberries
Greek yogurt
Coffee
Gallon Water-been slacking-will get it in, TODAY!!
Going to a Zumba class, with my DIL, tonight...hoping not to embarrass her, too badly...PLEASE let there be room, on the back row !!!!

Morning all! Back to summer weather in DC...HOT & HUMID! Since losing weight, I don't mind the heat itself all that much but last summer I was still miserable with the humidity. I'll wait and see whether it's any different this summer, as my body continues to change.
Another busy day in the office, so only a quick post, but I miss you guys when I don't stop by. All of my OH friends are so special to me and have given help and encouragement that has been really essential.

i'm simply exhausted this morning. Hoping that'll be a simple day but that may be to much to ask...lol. Not much planned that I know of. I'm hopeful a nap sometime today will happen.
meals today will be 2 1/2 protein shakes, broth, sf popsicles and maybe a sf jello.

my brunch date for today cancelled on me last night - she was in a fender bender on the way home from work yesterday and has to call the insurance company this morning. My guess is she probably could have made it to brunch regardless, but I'm secretly glad she canceled - I'm on a roll and don't need to deal with extra food. Plus our refrigerator is bursting at the seams - we need to eat some of this stuff before it spoils.
I really need to do some work on one of the organizations I chair because we have a board meeting on Monday night, and I want to be able to make a good report. I feel like I've really been slacking. I also just emailed my mother to see if she was interested in coffee or tea later. I haven't seen her in awhile even though she lives in the next town over - I don't want her to think I'm ignoring her. And exercise - need to get some of that in again today as well. Plus reading - I have some library books that are overdue, and I'm taking that short story class (first class was yesterday). I have four stories to read for next week. So...that's my day.
Accountability was good again yesterday, but I'm feeling very waterlogged this morning. Maybe Impossible Burgers (I had half of one) have a lot of sodium - plus there was piece of bacon on it. Not sure what else it would have been. Oh well - I'm less likely to overeat when I'm feeling bloated like this, so there's a positive side to it.

B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 C apple/cinnamon compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: either deli turkey slices or a chicken/peach salad
AS: L&F yogurt and/or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: whatever I don't eat for lunch. Or I may grill a Beyond Burger if I have enough calories left over
ex: 30 minutes on the stationary bike and maybe a gentle yoga class

Good morning everyone. I need to get in the habit of posting every day. Life is changing and I need the extra support and accountability.
My daughter moved out this past weekend. She is 30 minutes away. I know that she couldn't live with me forever and she needs to be closer to her work. I just miss her. My house feels quiet and odd. I have never been without her. Today I am going to paint her room. I can feel myself being sad. I am going to get out and go for a walk with Josie before I start my day.
Accountability- Cheese and I need to break up. I am very cheese sensitive. I love that light swiss for Trader Joes. Its 50 calories and so favorable, but its too easy to eat. My tummy is not happy today.
Food for today-
2 cups black coffee, 1 with Miralax
2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese with EBB seasoning
4 oz cracked peppered turkey breast with 2 pickled asparagus spears
Grilled halibut with lemon, roasted asparagus and tomatoes
chomps if needed
Lots of water today and hot tea. Vitamins always. I really need to be 100% on track. I am feeling bloated and gross.
