Good afternoon Karen and menu folks! I apologize for being MIA, I have been busy at work as well as the home front. We were able to check many projects off our to do list, though the list never does seem to get any smaller, next up is Joddie and I are going to sand and refinish the hardwood in our dining room. We went on a Cruise in April and had a wonderful time and are planning another for next year, loved waking up in a new location most mornings! I will be traveling to Mexico at the end of this month as I am trying desperately to source cosmetic glass at a price point that works for my company. The tariffs are very painful for small businesses where every penny matters! I am typing this from a Hotel in Pittsburgh, My wife had to attend a couple of refresher courses and asked me to tag along, I am fortunate that I can work from home as needed and have an understanding boss, though I will use a couple of personal days this week for sightseeing. I am continuing to eat protein first, less than 20 carbs per day and am exercising as per my norm. I continue to hover between 201-205. I am not sure that 195 lbs is in my future. I had my yearly physical in April with my PCP and she is just beyond pleased, we always have a nice little laugh and she allows me to tell her that I told her I would succeed wth WLS. I remain medication free!!!
QOTD - Cheese, the only way I am able to get my dairy in.
Even on the road I find time to workout and eat healthy, I was in the gym twice today and used the hotel shuttle to go to WM supercenter and stock up on some broccoli, celery , cheese and pepperoni as some bottled water.
B - scrambled eggs and bacon
S - broccoli, celery and dip
L - Chicken caeser salad - no croutons
S - salami and cheese rollup
D - I am going to have either grilled salmon or baked haddock, have not decided yet. ( always subject to change.
I will make an effort to show my face, the support I have received here has always been beneficial.
Stay healthy my friends, Mike
