Broth

i'm curious as to recipes some might have for this stuff. I found some store bought bone broth that doesn't make me gag as I ran out of the one I had made and froze.
I have some chicken & beef stock but they literally have little flavor and a smell that curls my toenails....I might be dramatically describing that...lol.
I'm open to simple recipes and some what complicated. AND I don't have an instapot atm.
Thanks!

Beef or Chicken "Stock" is good for soup, but not to drink in my opinion. UNJURY has a protein powder that is chicken flavored, but I haven't tried to drink it. It's better to have bouillon (maybe once a day) if your doctor allows. It is a nice break from all the sweet jello and popsicles. Hang in there.

I never bought the Unjury chicken broth protein powder, but have heard good things about it.
Can you maybe add some seasonings to the store bough broth and let it simmer for a bit? Maybe add a little bit of butter for some flavor since store bought stuff is usually relatively low in fat?

I'm currently in my liquid diet phase 2 weeks prior to surgery and I am having chicken in a mug. I'm trying not to have too much of it because of the sodium (even though I wasn't given any instructions as to how much of this I can have) but one of the posters above was exactly right to say it's a nice break from the sweet shakes. I almost find it "comforting" if that makes sense.

If you simmer the store-bought broth to reduce it, it greatly improves the flavor concentration!
You can also add herbs while you simmer it. I used a bunch of different premade spice blends, including Mediterranean, Caribbean jerk, and some different "super spicy" varieties. A lot of broths are also low-sodium, so tossing in some salt can make a big improvement.
If you like miso, adding some miso paste to plain broth is great!
