What's on your Sunday menu, RNY'ers?
Morning Weekenders!
I blew it last night. I went out to dinner with a friend, and pretty much everything on the menu at this place would have put me over my calorie limit. In retrospect, I should have put up with hunger earlier in the day and eaten a lot more lightly so I would have had more calories left over to play around with. I ordered an Impossible Burger but ate half of it. Still over. So I'm just going to have to be really careful this week. I have a couple of brunch/lunch dates - but I have a plan for them, so I think I'll be able to safely navigate this. Fingers crossed.
Today I WILL go to the gym, and I'll do some reading. I'm a bit behind - and I start my short story class on Tuesday, which means more reading. Maybe I can even sit outside on my deck and read - it's shaping up to be a beautiful day!!
3 years 11 months out:
B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt with mango pieces, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: turkey slices or the other half of my Impossible Burger
AS: light yogurt or raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip
D: whatever I don't eat at lunch, I'll eat at dinner
have a great day, all!!

Good morning Trish! Happy Sunday and thanks for starting us.
I had a fun day at "pop culture fest" formerly known as Denver Comic Con; my favorite was the mini Firefly panel which was PACKED. Firefly/Serenity is very missed. I also met a couple of authors and picked up books, which makes me happy.
I"m headed to corporate for a few days...and apparently I'm convinced I"m going to starve on the 4 hour flight; I have ever roast chicken in zip locks and cheese in ziplocks to carry with me, plus a bit of nuts and a zone perfect bar. Guess I'll be ready for any tarmac delays and I won't have to worry about heading to the grocery store until after work tomorrow.
I woke up about 2 am so I'm pretty hydrated with coffee and water so far; once I get to the airport I'll add more water.
B - cin raisin cottage cheese, 1 oz hatch green chile cheddar
L - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken
S - 2 oz cheese
D - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken
Have a fantastic sunday all!

Oooh, have you and Grim bonded over a love of Firefly, yet? He is a fanatic. I think he can recite them all--even the parts in Chinese ;)

Shiny!! We have not discussed our mutual Browncoat-dom but we have to now! Every year they don't bring firefly back is another year the world is wrong! It was the first step to this reality, lol.

Oh, I am looking for some good Geek wear! I was a bit disappointed in the offerings this go around; I was hoping to find a Miranda is for Reavers shirt that I'd seen before but no luck.

I'm the same way with packing food! I swear I filled the mini-fridge in our room the two times I had surgery in Chicago - even though I was only there from Thursday night until Monday morning (surgeries were on Fridays - first post-ops were on Monday mornings). And I stayed overnight at the hospital on the Friday nights both times and wasn't released until Saturday afternoon - so even less need for my own food! I"m pretty sure they have grocery stores in Chicago - I could have sent DH out to buy something if we were running low on food after the first couple of days, but.... Needless to say, most of that food came back with us!

Well, after all my preping, I left all the cold items in the fridge at home. Even so, I suspect I won't starve in the 4 hours I'm in the air.

We had a pretty bad storm move through and it tore out a window in our shed. Of course I can't help fix it so i'm Feeling rotten about that. We will just have to get some plywood to put over it as the glass broke in one pane.
Food ol was mostly on point yesterday. Only added an extra sf popsicle in the evening so my bs might get a boost in the morning. It did indeed work as it was 84 this morning.
food...
trying to get two and a half shakes in today. So far i've Had 8 ozs over 3 or so hours. Will add some bone broth in there and a few sf popsicles.
