What's on your menu? Photo Friday
Mornin'!
I've done really well calorie-wise for the last three days, but my weight is up again this morning. I actually got some exercise in as well. ARRRGGGHHH!! This is so freaking annoying! Hopefully it'll start trending down soon...I hope. Gym membership starts up again tomorrow after being suspended for two months due to surgery. Should help.
QOTD: I've always liked my thighs because they're thin (I'm apple-shaped, so they didn't look too bad even when I was SMO). Now I have "thigh gap", which is great! I also love my new breasts (courtesy of Dr. Zachary). They're small (B cup) and sit up nice and high, which I don't think they ever did before, even when I was 20. I hate my waist and always have (it's thick - but then, I'm apple-shaped, so...), but all three of my PS consults said there wasn't much they could do about it. Boo. Oh well - I'll just have to ignore it and focus on either end of it instead (boobs and thighs). You can't have everything...
3 years 11 months out:
B: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 C strawberry-rhubarb sauce (no added sugar), coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake (after reading some of White Dove's recent posts, I'm contemplating getting a self-freezing ice cream maker and making these into "ice cream" (I do have an ice cream maker, but it's one of those that you have to stick the bowl in your regular freezer for at least 24 hours before using the ice cream maker - not very convenient if you want to freeze a protein shake every day)
L: meeting a couple of friends at the Low Carb Cafe. I feel like I should try something different this time, but I love the Asian meatballs (on zoodles) and the pad thai (also with zoodles). I just checked the menu, but I'm not sure what else to get - those two dishes keep popping out at me..)
AS: probably won't need anything after that lunch, but if so, raw veggies and ranch Greek yogurt dip - or maybe a L&F yogurt
D: leftover grilled fish taco or deli turkey slices
exercise: yes. Walking. At least 30 minutes! Looking forward to being able to use the gym again starting tomorrow!!
P.S. I see some old-timers posted while I was tying this - it's so great to see you all on here again!!
You are in maintenance a long time, your weight is going to fluctuate. Do not stress... you are doing this!

it is, but it's been fluctuating between 152-155 for too long now - I like being below 150. Even 149.8 is fine by me! I don't know why I'm so focused on some arbitrary number, but i guess a lot of us are. It may help when I can start exercising regularly again. I haven't since i had surgery two months ago.
it's odd that I put on a couple of pounds after this round of PS. Last time around, I lost a couple of pounds (both times I was at 150 the morning of surgery). Although I've had a lot more swelling this time - incisions cover more surface area. Maybe it's partly that. And maybe I've inched up a bit on calories since last time, too. I'll check.. I'm really working at staying in my maintenance range now - every day!!

What an amazing event! You do so much good work in your community. I love your before and after too, such an incredible change!
I think I've over done everything this week - I noticed at my pilates class last night that every spot was tight and sore and this morning I feel a bit like I've been hit by a truck. A small truck at least. I don't have time for any sickness/achiness so I'm going to power through it. I have Denver's comic con (or pop culture fest as it's now known) tomorrow and then head to corporate office on Sunday.
QOTD - my smile, I've always liked it; it's similar to my grandmother's smile.
My photos are my sister and I before our ghost and gangsters walk and then all of us on the ledge at the Sears Tower.
Menu today is light on coffee and switching to tea with the next cup.
B - cin raisin cottage cheese
L - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 2 pickles
D - buffalo jalapeno sausage link
S - L&F greek
Have a fantastic friday and weekend all!

Good morning. Finally a nice sunny day and really nice as my company dedicated a new flag for Pride month this morning. So they took down the company flag and dedicated that pole to the pride flag permanently. Oops, not permanent - just pride month.
QOTD - that's hard as I'm still getting used to my new contours and the swelling is still going down post PS. I did find that my swim jammer actually looked normal in the window reflection at the pool. That was a first and made me smile. Before I liked my chest, so we'll have to see where this nets out in the next few months. Maybe I'll see guns soon too ;)
B - eggwhites small portion; 2/3 cup oatmeal with a few nuts and 5 berries
L - 3.5 oz turkey, small salad
S - Plain Greek Yogurt with some cutie orange pieces
D - leftover pork and some turkey chili (no beans - 1/2 cup); small salad
S - low sugar popsicles; maybe SF ones
Exercise today will be 45 min Peloton session - looking forward to it, as it's a sing along session. Those are fun.
Have a great day!

Cynthia - I don't think I had ever seen a before pic of you. You look like a different woman and you look fab!! The bisep muscles are impressive too.
I have a long working weekend ahead of me, and that's OK. It keeps my mind busy from sad news I heard of a death in our community.
QOTD: my smile, always.
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Left over Crockpot chili lime chicken
- Turkey meatballs
- Yogurt or parm cheese
My pics are the care package I sent to DD for her 21st bday. I figured we better take care of her the day after her bday.
