Happy Friday all! Not sure whether or not anyone else is typing, but I'll get things started. Yep, I wasn't the first to hit submit but I've pasted my post in...
Well, yesterday ended up just being a rest day. I tried to work from home for a while but just couldn't focus so signed out and piddled around alot. We did got to the pool for an hour after lunch and I swam laps & sat in the hot tub with the jets on my lower back. My back, neck, shoulders and head are all knotted up after lots of hours sitting and studying. Starting to feel better though.
QOTD: OK a question for the day that is totally about vanity...LOL! Personally, I spent most of my life with a very poor body image and one of the things that I continue to struggle with is adjusting to how my body looks and feels and how I feel mentally and emotionally about it. What part or aspect of your body do you most like? Do you do anything to "enhance" it?
I've always liked my face and/or hair. Afterall I hated my body from the neck down, so what was left...? With weight loss, I think my face looks older so I'm happy to hide behind my glasses sometimes! I am very proud of the hard work I've put in on my arms and shoulders though over the last year. The strength and shape make me proud of what I've put into my new body. Hate my saggy thighs though but wearing shorts anyway.
Accountability: did well yesterday since my tummy was iffy. Lots of hydration
Menu:
B: coffee w/ Miralax, TJ's ham, 1/2 cup plain oatmeal w/ raspberries
S: turkey breast
L: protein shake, TJ's chicken sausages, baby carrots
S: probably Lactaid cottage cheese w/ blackberries & slivered almonds
D: fish tacos please!!
E: an hour in the gym with my trainer/boss

If I had arms that looked like that I'd show them off to. Mine are OK muscle wise but the saggy skin is a drag. It is what it is though and ,though at first I wouldn't wear short sleeves now I wear whatever I want--saggy skin and all! I look better than most 59 year olds so it's all good. I guess I thought my face and hair were my.best features. Now my face looks old so I always make a point of keeping my hair colored so I look a bit younger. Accountability was spot on yesterday food wise and Lily and I got our planned 2 walks in as well. Weight today is 123. Lily and I have 1 long walk in here at Elkhart Campground already. They have a nice walking trail in a little patch of woods that winds around and around and lots of rows of spaces to walk up and down too. We'll do 2 more walks today. Heres the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L P3 pack D 4 oz brat burger S if needed 2oz pork rinds . Pics are a before and after and a pic of some of the work from last project.
Look at those guns!! Wowza!!!
Also, congrats for passing the test and getting your certificate.

It's been a super busy week and I have one minute to get a post in. Our weekend plans include power washing the house and then finally opening the pool. I am so ready for summer to begin. There are 9 student days left and in two weeks this school year will all be wrapped up. Hard to believe.
QOTD: Since wls, I hate the saggy skin on my arms. I usually don't wear capped sleeve tops but yesterday I did. I was pretty self-conscious about it but the kids didn't seem to notice.
Accountability: good, not great. We went out to dinner with our other wls friends on Wednesday. They both motivate me to do better and DH agrees. The last 10-15 pounds we are going to have to work for and then the real work of maintaining will begin.
pre-B: 8 ounces of Fairlife
B: PP chocolate shake
L: chicken caesar salad with 1/2 c strawberries from my strawberry patch
D: cheeseburger salad
My picture is of me this morning. It's country/western day at school - each grade level learned to square dance and they are sharing it with the school and a teacher funny.
