QOTD - I think it's that we are over tired from during too much during the weekend that the weeks seems to drag.

Good Morning! Since I didn't post Friday and yesterday was a holiday I feel like it's been forever since I've been on here. Back to the grind today and catch up from the few days off. Over the weekend my hubby was interviewed by one of the local news stations regarding his enjoyment of minor league hockey and a team that used to play here- anyhow it aired last night after the first Stanley Cup playoff game (I'll try and add a link below in case anyone wants to see it.)
Accountability: I haven't been horrible, just a few extras snacks here and there. I am no longer doing no bars- adding them back in, in a "healthy/planned"'way when I want one.
QOTD: I agree on the short week thinking process- we still have ALL THE WORK! Lol

The first finals game? Wow, hockey playoffs seem to go on forever! I'm not a sports person so always surprised by this!

G'morning all!
Wow, coming up for air finally. The good and the bad of living by the ocean; long weekends your house becomes a hotel. We had ZERO plans for Memorial Day weekend but starting on Wed friends started calling to see if we were free for them to drop by. Thank good there is a resort across the street so they actually had rooms but our house was like an open house. At one point I counted 13 kids sleeping in sleeping bags on the floor of the living room. Don't get me wrong, not complaining, loved seeing friends and hanging out but it was a lot of work. The bbq was on non stop and I baked non stop. Yesterday afternoon when everybody left DH & I looked at each other and decided next year we'll be out of town.
QOTD: after all that hosting I'm actually happy to get back to work and my routine.
Accountability: not so good. Too many baked goods (my weak point), but this short week is detox.
My meals for the day:
- Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
- Chicken fajita (Trader Joes)
- Turkey meatballs
- Yogurt or parm cheese

Good morning! I had such a nice weekend, just perfect! Saw Aladdin - LOVED IT and a bunch of other fun stuff that didn't include house projects and cleaning for once, lol. Happy for a short week, hopefully it will fly by and it'll be the weekend again!
QOTD - I think its because we are confused about what day it actually is, haha and the cramming all the work thing...
Accountability - None. After our physicals yesterday I ate all the carbs
