morning my friends...
I took my bicycle out of the shed yesterday after work- I did not have high expectations since I really haven't ridden it in like 10 years LOL...I did get a tire pump over the weekend and the tires filled up and seemed to stay full so that's a good sign. Took Story on our first ever bike ride together--she is still pretty small for the bike frame we got her but she does really well...she just panics going downhill since she doesn't really get the hang of the brakes quite yet...she had a little meltdown toward the end since we had to go down a hill to get home and we ended up having to walk the bikes the rest of the way (actually I had to leave mine, walk hers and go back for mine because she was crying hysterically). needless to say, I got a decent workout mostly from all the walking up and downhill LOL.

Happy Friday-Eve! So the drama for today is that Emily broke her ceiling fan by trying to tighten the light fixture on it. I guess and sparked and shorted out so hubby had to get up there this morning to take it down and secure things until later today.

Hello everyone,
I have a quiet day today. I will mostly be working on my homework assignments, but this evening I need to plant the sweet pepper starts that are currently sitting on my windowsill - it is supposed to be cloudy and drizzly tomorrow so it is a good time. I harvested the last of the red radishes from the spring crop, and I'll plant some more this fall.
I didn't find a QOTD; I may have missed it.

I wish you luck with your liquids. As for broth, you could try vegetable broth. What comes to my mind is that better than bouillon has both a vegetable broth and a mushroom broth - I haven't tried the mushroom broth but find the idea intriguing. I am on a restricted pre-op diet, but thankfully my program only requires liquids the day before surgery.

Good morning - better late than never! Busy morning, which is great it makes the day fly. We are having a potluck for 2 staffers b-days today. Wish me luck - its Mexican theme (my fav) and the amazing food smells are already killing me! There will be salad and chicken, so I will be good, but the enchiladas.... Oh my - NO! I got this! Oh, our fur-baby, Lucy is doing better - she had a UTI. She seems off still and I can't put my finger on what/why so we are watching her closely. Looking forward to this 3 day weekend! Lots of little stuff planned - movies, bowling, visiting my parents grave (mom passed 2 years ago today - I can't believe it) and if my back/hips allow maybe an easy hike! I always think I'm gonna sleep in or take a nap but that never happens!
Accountability - damn costco mixed nuts
b- coffee x 3, didn't eat my yogurt - I had a meeting and totally forgot
l - Rotisserie chicken and salad
d-chicken thighs and green beans
snack - yogurt and/or beef jerky
Have a great day everyone!
