Yikes! I haven't flown for a while and had no idea this could occur. In fact just yesterday I was enjoying a little daydream about fitting into those unpleasantly narrow coach seats (and seatbelts) with plenty of room to spare! I can see having to fly wearing some serious Spanks now! When I had my DEXA scan (lying down), only one small area showed anything remotely mysterious like that. I wonder if I'd look the same on those machine monitors standing up?

Lovely South Beach view. Sounds like a fantastic room!

Cara, you will be shocked at how much room there is in those seat and belts! I've got legs that weigh more than you and I have at least 6 inches of belt to spare.

That's amazing, Jim! I've never had to fly for work, so never burned out on travel. I had always enjoyed flying (with a couple of notable exceptions), but being as heavy as I was made it so, so much less pleasant. Even prior to boarding, navigating the miles of airport corridors had become almost impossibly exhausting. I am incredibly glad in every way to no longer be suffering like that! I can't wait to cinch my next airplane seatbelt, and will have to take a picture. It will be a milestone, after 10 years of obesity!

yes - it's the loose skin. I used to have that happen every time I flew. I haven't flown anywhere since I had plastic surgery - I'm curious to see if it happens again, but I doubt it will...

Yup! I haven't flown many times since surgery (maybe 3) and every time I've got "felt up"... lol

It seems like the loose skin thing is pretty common -- at least it happens to me in the full body scanner (not with the metal detector though). I used to get flagged quite a bit for a "head check" and learned that pretty much anything that creates an overlap (in that case it was having my hands too close to my head) generates a flag and pat down scenario. So given that it made sense the last time I was pulled out and looked at the scanner where all the flags were...and the lady that patted me down was my thorough than my last lady doctor visit, lol.

That happened to me all the time before I had my skin surgery.

TSA: Do you have something in your pocket?

No that would be my skin tucked into my pants.

It happens to me EVERY time! They think I am packing "heat"...the body location changes...one time was behind my knee...I never know! My skin swayed, I guess :)

Good morning everyone, I am also in Ontario and I agree the weather is depressing. I keep staring at the pool sighing lol. I think it will come all at once. Plus 5 to plus 25, can't wait. I love summer, I love the sun. It is like medicine. I have had a great week. Back on track after a small experimentation on vacation with "hmmm I wonder if I can tolerate that." Looking forward to the long weekend and having a sleep over with my grand-daughter.

QOTD: We have a king bed because that was the only choice when I was 365 pounds sleeping with my husband and two doggies. I was on bipap then sleeping with a husband that also snores. Now I have no sleep apnea and during the work week my husband is abolished to the spare room because now that I feel what it's like to have a good night sleep, I value it too much. He get's one dog and it's just me and my other dog in my big King bed. Love it!

Breakfast: Bulletproof Coffee (doing the Keto thing)

Lunch: 3 oz of steak

Dinner: 3 oz of chicken

Snacks: Have a hard boiled egg and a PP depending on how hungry I am. Friday night is usually treat night so I have a bag of pork rinds waiting for me also. I may make chicken/pork rind nachos for dinner depending how I feel

Lots of water (usually 90 0z)

Here is a pic of my adorable grandaughter :)
